  I find a dragon with a 2 queens (The more queens, the better) rather then an obsidian to be better. The queens level up pretty linearly with each other, including the dragon who in turn scales with the exponential flower/honey combo. For example, the dragon may be doing 1000% of its own damage real late game which is 20% of the flowers damage scaling to 2x the flowers current damage output to the first wave. This by itself probably out scales the obsidian and would continue to scale.

  Leveling up the Obsidian Tower is useless.

  Level 1 has penalty: -1 tower in the shop until leveled. So getting to level 2 is preferable but not urgent.

  It's incredibly mid. Good for killing the scouts and staggering devastators, but it's lacking in range and explosive aoe. I also found that it was too easy to fire shots straight between bot legs if I wasn't aiming higher than I thought I should be

  That's true, it also goes through their arms sometimes. The hitbox is wonky and will hopefully be fixed. Small bots are rarely a threat so if you want a backpack that isn't auto cannon ammo there's not a lot of choice when it comes to dealing with striders and Devastators with a main weapon.

  @@cathathat this is true. The scythe can cook scouts through the front armour, and it's fairly easy to get headshots with it on devastators, but both take time, so it isn't a perfect sub

  True but a grenade launcher is a support weapon, this is a main so you can take a quasar or something else in that slot.

  I shot 12 shots from the arc12 into the back of a walker and it didnt die.. so decided I would just play the rest of the mission with my pistol.

  It also goes through the shield of Devastators. First hit causes them to open the shield and then 2-3 more in the body and they drop.
