    down hill long boarding is even more dangerous than luge because they stand up when they get speed wobble they get thrown off the board and hit the ground hard. with street luge they might get thrown off the board but they role instead.

    I have been taking 1 tbsp of Virgin Coconut Oil/cold pressed (which means it hasn't been heated before it was put in the jar) so it's pure in a sense. Or cooking 3 eggs with 3 tbsp. heated stovetop and eggs are filling so I get the amino acids and choline (a nutient for the brain). My favorite affect from coconut oil is it reduces my appetite. So I merely have sardines or chickpeas for lunch and often don't snack... then have a simple meal at least 3 hours before bedtime so it's digested and can sleep for 8 hours.I think sleep is important because I also have epilepsy, tho now I have a VNS and still take meds.

    So here's the thing: Many of the nutrient levels put out by the US Gov't. are based on the bare minimum needed to avoid horrible diseases! They are NOT based on what is needed to produce optimal health! For example, the Vit C levels are those needed to prevent Scurvy. Despite the RDA of copper being only 1 mg (which is ridiculously low) we need more than this. I'm not a doctor and I'm not a professional nutritionist - I'm "just" someone who has studied nutrition for over 40 years. Mostly because I've experienced 3 long-term illnesses in my life as well as a heart attack at age 36, mostly because of very poor medical "care." I decided to do my own research and treat myself because it couldn't have been worse than what they were doing! (Like I found out because I was a vegetarian for 10 years I was severely deficient in copper and B12, both of which caused heart disease) If you want to up your copper intake, drink WHEATGRASS JUICE! That and beef liver are probably your best sources of copper. And if you decide to regularly take a supplement of over 2 mgs a day (I think you should) and/or you are going to regularly consume the liver and/or wheatgrass juice (which has about 13 mgs. of copper in a shot, by the way) then you need to make sure you are getting the co-nutrients that you pair with it. Like vitamin C, zinc, manganese, iodine, potassium, etc. Wheatgrass juice does contain manganese and many of these other nutrients, by the way, which is part of why it's so good. But it doesn't have exactly the right amount and all the things needed to balance out the copper. Check out the Facebook group the Copper Revolution for more details about what to take and amounts. The people who are running the group are doing megadoses, and you don't have to do that unless you want to, but at least get the information about the right ratios of everything you should be taking to get and stay healthy. 1. Ironically, nuts can impede mineral absorption due to their high phytic acid content, among other anti-nutrients. Soak nuts in water then throw the water away and rinse before consuming to reduce the phytic acid. If you want you can warm them up in your oven or toaster oven so they aren't soggy after soaking them. Even after you do all of this, most nuts contain less than 1 mg of copper in a serving. 2. While coffee contains a fair amount of copper, it also contains copper-binding ligands which can reduce the copper by binding to the copper that is present in the coffee, rendering it useless. 3. A serving of dark chocolate contains less than 1 mg. of copper. Barely worth mentioning. 4. One medium egg only contains .03 mgs of copper! That's less than half a mg. So two eggs might contain 1 mg. 5. An ENTIRE CUP of beans (most people don't even eat a whole cup - a serving is half a cup) contains less than half a mg. of copper. 6. Lobster. Okay, now this is some food worth mentioning in regards to copper. Yes, lobster, oysters, and other shellfish are good sources of copper. BUT KEEP IN MIND THAT MANY OF THESE FOODS ARE ALSO EVEN HIGHER IN ZINC CONTENT. Zinc can DEPLETE copper if you get way more zinc than you're supposed to. A woman who ate 15-20 oysters daily ended up with spinal degeneration due to all the zinc in the oysters depleting her copper levels. If you eat oysters you are getting copper, but you're also getting a lot of zinc. (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27645757/ ) Lobster meat is also fairly high in zinc. 7. One whole tomato contains less than one mg of copper. Tomatoes are also high in lectins that can reduce nutrient absorption including minerals such as copper and calcium. 8. Beef liver is a good source of copper, at 11 mgs. a serving. This is the best thing mentioned in the video. 9. Shitake mushrooms: Not too bad, at least getting closer to a full mg at .65 mgs for a 1/2 a cup. But still not enough. 10. Again, oysters are okay for copper but the zinc in them will cancel it out.

    What else beside pineapple is full of digestive enzymes? How can i boost my stomach juice and digestive enzymes for better absorption and weight gain?

  • @NutritionVilla
    @NutritionVilla3 ай бұрын

    Digestive enzymes are crucial for breaking down food and aiding in the absorption of nutrients. While pineapple is well-known for its high content of the enzyme bromelain, there are other foods that also boast digestive enzymes.
