    They are “thin”, because they don’t have a lot of cushioning, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have durable outsoles. My barefoot shoes have the most durable outsoles I have ever seen. I have been wearing them multiple years and they still only have very mild signs of wear.

    One thing I love about waterproof shoes or boots. You can rinse some off with the water hose before going in your house so you don’t have to be so paranoid about taking off your shoes.

    I’ve been “zero drop, wide toe box”, minimalist shoe convert for four years now…even wearing toe spacers at night. I think it almost criminal that shoe companies still make “pointed toe cap” shoes. While these look nice, I still don’t think they carry over to formal “suit or tuxedo” wear. Does anyone make a shoe to wear with formal or dress wear? Like with a black, charcoal or dark navy suit? Well done, video, sir

    I love barefoot shoes, the only thing i don't like are the insoles i most. They're too uncomfortable, and since the barefoot shoes have such wide toeboxes i can't find suitable insoles to replaces them.

  • @troy510
    @troy510 Жыл бұрын

    Lol they are meant to be very thin. That's the whole point of it being a "barefoot" shoe. Just don't use an insole at all then. It's even closer to being barefoot.

    I’ve been using those black ones and their trail runners for a few years and they are great, still holding tight! If you look closely at the different types there is one that the top is kind of elasticy, keeps rocks, dirt and other stuff from getting in your shoes. I wear them everyday to the park trails and have taken them rock climbing and backpacking more than a few times in mountain/desert climates.

  • @SpudFarmer
    @SpudFarmer Жыл бұрын

    @toniesilver5160 I have both and can share one main difference. The first links shoe has a much wider toe box than the second. The second link shoe is wider than a normal canvas shoe however the first link shoe has way more room for toe spread. Both are great, and you'll be happy with either if you don't have a preference! You can really see the difference when looking at the pictures from the heel and how far the toe box juts out on each side.

    Got into running last year after not wearing any sneakers for like 25 years after moving to florida. With my feet pretty used to unrestricted sandal wear, I ended up settling on these after trying on about every option my local stores had to try. Was about the only one that i thought didn't feel too restrictive. Super comfortable shoe a year latter too. My only complaint is the top mesh section at the very top ripped on it's own like 2 month in, and that stitching above the toes popped up with a hole shortly after. And that is with light work use and basically just running on flat sidewalk every day.
