  Seriously though, Katakuri would have still won even with Luffy having a plot armor I mean, we all know that Katakuri just let Luffy win. But of course this is shonen at the end of the day, Luffy always win. He is the main protagonist In alternate universe, Katakuri will destroy Luffy, Katakuri wins. Luffy will be dead 💀

  meh. katakuri was getting worked up, still tired, and was in the middle of eating. Thats just how strong he is. Luffy caught him in the middle of eating, then katakuri got flustered.

  Out of all the people that Luffy has fought Katakuri has got to be the only one who didnt underastimate Luffy as much as the other’s. Kaido , Dofflamingo , Lucci , Crocodile , etc , they all took Luffy as a joke the first moment they started to fight him but Katakuri was serious with him the second they started fighting. This show’s that how big Katakuri’s battle IQ is.

  @@Kaden_97True , but he did not underastimate him as much as the other’s , and beside’s Katakuri had Luffy crushed by the mochi , he seemed pretty dead , how was Katakuri supossed to know that Luffy ear’s a lot and would eat through the mochi.

  Maybe Luffy (Nika) is a Sun God, not because he's literally the Sun. I think he's called like that because he gives so much Hope when there's so much despair wherever he is. So "Sun God" = Rays of Hope. Luffy was always show winning battles with a Sun / Sunrays in his background. Alvida, Morgan, Kuro, Krieg, Arlong, Laboon, Crocodile, Enel, Lucci, Moria, Doffy, Kaido and more bosses from special episodes or movies. Luffy beat all of them and after that, sunlight is always shown behind him, and people around him looks so hopeful. Most of the fans are taking literal meaning of Nika being the Sun God, and Luffy needs to eat the Mother Flame or something. But I believe, Oda is planning to reveal some new kind of power with the "Ray of Hope / Sun God" but it's not gonna be a "fire" kind of power, rather a morale boost or something. That's why Mihawk was terrified of Luffy's ability to rally people behind his back. Because this is something only the Sun God can possess.
