I wouldn't recommend the 3060 just because the amount of power to run that GPU. The 4060 is great and efficient at 110W

92mm fans work great for the side and the rear if you wanted to replace that one too. I haven't measured or tried to find one above the side fan.

With 350 watt i got a flashing red light and it kept disconecting and i had to renable it in task manager, it shows no display. It worked for like 4 days until this happened. everything on my computer is stock wthout any upgrades exept the ram. What do i do and why does it not work for me @bradfordskeldorado

You've only had it for about a week? If that's the case, sound like it could be a manufacturer defect. I would try to contact HP. Possibly try to reinstall your old ram and see if you have any different result.

So a red light can be an indication of the gpu not reading properly. Have you tried reseating it?

@@bradfordskeldorado No you dont under stand, for me the gpu started working for a couple days, around the 3rd day the gpu kept powering off like the drivers and stuff and i had to put it back on in device manager, after around the 6th day, the gpu just wouldnt work, then it showed a red flashing light signal.

Did you use the same cpu cooler? Your cpu temp should display on your task manager regardless of the cooler you have.

but all is good just so u no brad i found a psu the is the same size and bolt pattern has the 350w that comes in it i no u case swapped ur but for future people that ask u tell them to get L77487-001 same size and bolt pattern currently in my victus and its 85 bucks of ebay 80 plus plat but love the vid help me alot im tech savvy but no pro and a console gamer switch to pc my victus has that 500w with a 4060 veetroo lp shadow gskill ram but i think its hindered by bios push 155 fps in the finals

For the gpu you will just need to make sure you have the correct amount of pcie power connectors from the power supply and you will just install the new gpu in the top pcie slot and secure it with the mounting hardware and plug it in! Let me know of this isn't what you needed

70 under a load is perfectly normal. 70 for cpu under a load is normal too with a passive cpu cooler too.

Did it really help? I have a 3060 ti same Pc but recently i get up to 80 Degrees while heavy gaming which wasnt before. I cleaned everything from the inside and even the graphics card but it didnt fix anything

It doesn't help a lot. This case is not designed for a lot of air flow but I will say you can fit a 90mm fan instead of the 80mm I tested. This short was made because people asked how to install a fan on the side so I just wanted to show that you could to help push some extra air. May help to adjust your fan speeds.

I will say that a case like this is easier to upgrade parts and add proper cooling. This is if you already have the pc and was to spend about $300 to get it swapped over.

The rear fan mount is 92mm. The side fan mount supports up to 92mm. The OEM cooler is 80mm fans.

I recommend running the DDU from GURU3D.COM and uninstall the display drivers. Then reinstall amd adrenaline and the current drivers.

I honestly prefer nvidia. Amd has given me issues every time updated drivers. Any time I ran into this I would continue to uninstall and re-download the program. Are you doing the auto driver or going to the website and downloading the specific driver for the rx6600?

I have Victus myself. I've come to the conclusion that personally i think its not a great PC for what payed for ($500). But doing an upgrade like this, wouldn't it just be better to build a whole new pc from the ground up? I'm glad this upgrade works for victus owners but this upgrade almost gives me Ship of Theseus vibes. ps you've helped me figure out a good gpu upgrade for my victus so I'm am very grateful to you.

Plug and play. Just make sure youbhave internet because your login pin may need to be reset. It's a simple task but if you're using wifi and the new mobo doesn't have wifi then you'll need to hard ware it.

The size and shape of the motherboard with the usbs on the front will prevent it from fitting. I also, don't know if the holes will line up with a different case. Also, the power supply from the victus won't mount in a normal case. The power supply and the hp motherboard are meant for each other so if you change one, you have to change both

For the $ I'd prolly just slap a 4060 in it and call it day. It won't look as good, but I'd go with performance vs aesthetics. At 115 watts, you can run a 4060 with the original power supply.

Absolutely! I have a short testing the 4060 on this pc and it's my recommended pick for this pc. I have just had quite a few people asking if it was possible to swap it and what it would take. Realistically l, now you can get a @cyberpowerpc with a 4060 and 16gb of ram for $800 so it's a better deal than buying a victus and doing this change.

I like the convenience of having the many usbs on the front but that can't be efficient for manufacturing over an matx sized motherboard. These are great pcs in my opinion but limited to upgrades lol

First time pc builder here… I am currently doing this swap with the Asus mother bored. I am gonna upgrade my graphics card what do I need to do for the new graphics card? I’m going to a rx6750xt
For the gpu you will just need to make sure you have the correct amount of pcie power connectors from the power supply and you will just install the new gpu in the top pcie slot and secure it with the mounting hardware and plug it in! Let me know of this isn't what you needed

Hello, I have a problem. I have an almost new Victus, but the graphics card temperature is high, reaching 70. Is this normal? Is there a way to increase the fan speed?
70 under a load is perfectly normal. 70 for cpu under a load is normal too with a passive cpu cooler too.
I have a victus 15l myself and it has i7 13700 and rtx 3060 I was wondering if you have any suggerstions for how I could build an all white build by just taking over the cpu and gpu for around 300-500 I made a pc part list for around 580 but thats a little more than what I want to pay so any suggestions or tips to lower the price would be nice
What ram did your computer come with? So you want a white mobo, cooler, case and gpu?

i have one, it works perfectly, if you are on a budget get this, and if you want a little more performance i recommend you get another 8gb stick, i added a 2tb wd blue hdd to the pc.

It is smaller but would take up some room in a carry on. The case is 6" deep x 11" wide x 13" tall

Yes sir. I did a full vid reviewing this pc and cs:go was one of the games I tested. CS2 isn't much different in performance.
Did it really help? I have a 3060 ti same Pc but recently i get up to 80 Degrees while heavy gaming which wasnt before. I cleaned everything from the inside and even the graphics card but it didnt fix anything
It doesn't help a lot. This case is not designed for a lot of air flow but I will say you can fit a 90mm fan instead of the 80mm I tested. This short was made because people asked how to install a fan on the side so I just wanted to show that you could to help push some extra air. May help to adjust your fan speeds.
I have the same Pc but with an Rtx 3060 ti and i didnt have this issue for the first few months but now my Graphics card get temperatures up to 80 Degrees and i cleaned everything inside and the fan of the Card too. Would it be helpful to swap the case or just build another fan in it
I will say that a case like this is easier to upgrade parts and add proper cooling. This is if you already have the pc and was to spend about $300 to get it swapped over.
what size is the exhaust fan does anyone know?
The rear fan mount is 92mm. The side fan mount supports up to 92mm. The OEM cooler is 80mm fans.

I did this but it struggles pretty hard on most games. Sometimes. No matter that settings, I get the same fps either way. Help please.
I recommend running the DDU from GURU3D.COM and uninstall the display drivers. Then reinstall amd adrenaline and the current drivers.
@@bradfordskeldorado I’ve done that twice then the adrenaline software won’t open after the initial time it opens after install
I honestly prefer nvidia. Amd has given me issues every time updated drivers. Any time I ran into this I would continue to uninstall and re-download the program. Are you doing the auto driver or going to the website and downloading the specific driver for the rx6600?
I’ve done both but I’m not sure which is the best one to download…

Can I connect them anywhere else apart from the front? This is because the PC will be on the right, and the wire comes from the left headphone. It's going to be annoying so just asking! There are 4 usb ports on the back. I believe 2 2.0 and 2 3.0 ports

I have Victus myself. I've come to the conclusion that personally i think its not a great PC for what payed for ($500). But doing an upgrade like this, wouldn't it just be better to build a whole new pc from the ground up? I'm glad this upgrade works for victus owners but this upgrade almost gives me Ship of Theseus vibes. ps you've helped me figure out a good gpu upgrade for my victus so I'm am very grateful to you.

I'm case swapping my victus 15l into a jonsbo d300 case with a ASRock board. If I'm using the same m.2 with windows 11 on it will I have to reinstall windows or is it plug and play?
Plug and play. Just make sure youbhave internet because your login pin may need to be reset. It's a simple task but if you're using wifi and the new mobo doesn't have wifi then you'll need to hard ware it.
I'm new to PC gaming coming from steam deck. Ive done every possible upgrade to my Victus. Upgraded PSU to 500w, installed the XFX 6600xt (3 fans), added 32gb of ram, and 4tb SSD. I think upgrading my wifi card is the last thing which I'll have this week.

If it's an aftermarket motherboard. Look up the manufacturer site and search software, or Drive download. There should be a wifi driver available

The motherboard comes with a set of hardware. The case c9mes with standoffs to mount a motherboard.

How to upgrade Bios Victus
support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4123786-2338478-16 The second section shows you can update the bios from within the bios. Just hit the "delete" key when you're HP screen comes up on boot up and there should be an option to update it from HP.com

I bought a victus. Then when I went to upgrade the memory I found out that the bios is locked and so it is set at 2133mhz and can't be changed.

I am confused i did what you said but now whenbi boot it up it takes me to a screen that says choose an option and the options are exit and continue to windows 11 pc reset or shut off pc
Is it a blue screen? When you select continue to windows 11 does it take you to your login?

The size and shape of the motherboard with the usbs on the front will prevent it from fitting. I also, don't know if the holes will line up with a different case. Also, the power supply from the victus won't mount in a normal case. The power supply and the hp motherboard are meant for each other so if you change one, you have to change both

I love the look of the bottom fan on the H5. Another I would like to try out would be the H6
For the $ I'd prolly just slap a 4060 in it and call it day. It won't look as good, but I'd go with performance vs aesthetics. At 115 watts, you can run a 4060 with the original power supply.
Absolutely! I have a short testing the 4060 on this pc and it's my recommended pick for this pc. I have just had quite a few people asking if it was possible to swap it and what it would take. Realistically l, now you can get a @cyberpowerpc with a 4060 and 16gb of ram for $800 so it's a better deal than buying a victus and doing this change.
I thought about getting a case with a swing open side panel so I could still access the front USBs. 😂
@khoward1033 it's kind of odd how they would integrate that into the case and mother board vs having a hub and wire 🤣. I like the convenience of having the many usbs on the front but that can't be efficient for manufacturing over an matx sized motherboard. These are great pcs in my opinion but limited to upgrades lol
