They are the means by which a frightened mind would undertake its own protection, at the cost of truth.   Honestly, there's almost a whole Bible in this song 🎵! That's the mystery of the Gospel. It's history, which is His Story, the greatest love story ever told! Jesus permanently made himself like us, yet still God and cretor of the world! But you should read the Bible and see for yourself. God will speak to you through it if you put aside all the lies saying that the Bible is just a book written by men, and full of errors and fables. I know above all else in my 65 years of life, and career as an MD radiologist, and a Norwegian heritage citizen of the USA, and husband and father of 4, of whom one we won't meet until we get to heaven. I have tasted and seen that the LORD is good, and that he is the Almighty Maker of all things, and will someday redeem and restore the world to paradise that he originally made. He planned it all before the creation of all things. The fall of sin was allowed because without freedom of choice, there cannot be love.
