Nice video. Too bad you fucked it up with your bullshit The timing of the beautiful songs didn't even match the video taken by the original 8 mm camera. And your added 'text' comments sucked. You ruined it.

I remember the power went out and Claudette Royale entertained the entire Fair ground with her amazing voice. I also remember the crowd as one rebuked the rain and made a circle in the clouds of clearness over us. It was goose bump stuff.

Outside of our echo chamber called The Way. This looks terrible. I'm sorry to say it, but the optics alone in today's world looks exactly like a cult. Without sound to it, the soul is stripped away. This is terrible. One believer of the Way's opinion. Way Corps. It doesn't represent IT IS WRITTEN at all, for public consumption... BUT, screw that... for me this is just an incredible video because I was there a bit later, but I got to be undershephered by many of my Elder believers. What a rich life I've been given, personally! Thank you for posting.

"Doctor" VP Wierwille. Got a diploma from a one-room office in the mountains of Colorado. Ran a good scam for decades. Made millions scamming hopeful young kids that were in need of real help. Instead they got lied to and had their money and young life taken by a grifter from the farm lands of Ohio. Thanks Victor Paul Wierwille. From you I've learned not to trust people. Thanks for destroying so many lives for your grift!

Hello everyone, I was a WOW Ambassador 1973 Idaho Falls Idaho, 1974 Fargo N Dakota 1975 Jamestown N Dakota. I was 16-19 almost 20. Some of the best experiences of my life. I'm 68 now and still SIT much and share the word. Iv seen several people speak about TWI with ill intentions and disrespect. I was doing other things during the time when VPW passed and CM became president and heard some things but during my 6 years involvement with TWI it was a tremendous blessing to my life. I never saw the things pointed out by some as cult like. In fact I hold great admiration and positive memories and this is how iv chosen to remember TWI. My memories of twig fellowship and rye NY and the Long Beach fellowship groups and taking PFAL inspired me greatly and God's love was very obvious and intentional amoung us. Anyways, blessings and Love to all Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ!

Anyone know if that’s Craig teaching between 4:47-5:26 ? The hand gestures, posture and facial structure, though limited resolution, appear similar to his, yet I think I’m detecting glasses worn by this thin young man, which I don’t recall ever seeing him having worn. The Way College portion with Craig, at the end of the video, appears to be closer to 1977 or later.

I was in the Army and had met a WOW the weekend before the ROA. I ended up going in a caravan with his WOW Family and a few other believers. I hadn't had the class so I took my car in case things got too weird and I wanted to leave early. We left on Sunday night around midnight. We stopped and filled our tanks down the road from our apartments. That was my first time hearing manifestations. We got back into our cars and Jim was riding shotgun. As we got on the road, I asked Jim, "What the hell was that." That was all it took to start the conversation that lasted from San Antonio to Kansas City. With great patience and love he proceeded to answer every question I had ever had about God and the Bible. We would drive a few miles and I would ask another question. He would grab his Bible and I’d turn on the dome light while he read the answer line by line. He made nothing up. If he didn’t know, he would say he didn’t know. By the time we spent the night in KC, I was bouncing off the walls. Then we got to the ROA and it was amazing to see so much of the Word living in people. People were walking in love and free to express their joy in God’s grace. It was absolutely overwhelming. On the last day of the Rock, I realized that I was going back into the world and I knew I wasn’t strong enough to live like this until the next Rock. I made a commitment to God that I would do this thing the rest of my life. Even when I fell, I would get back on track to try again. That was 47 years ago. It’s been a wild ride seeing God work in my life and the lives of other believers. I’ve seen things even Hollywood couldn’t dream up. My thankfulness runs deep and the peace I have is astonishing. And I’m still in touch with Jim.

It's sickening to see everybody kissing like that. I think that was for the most part all the way out or nearly so, sometime in the early 80's. Sometimes somebody would quote that one verse about greeting each other with a holy kiss, but I doubt if it was done like that in the 1st century. Blame it on the early 70's culture, I guess. We should have known better, I think. Some families people grew up in were the kissing kind. Mine wasn't.

Me and mother were part of The Way back in 1982 - 1984. I actually had a very good experience in the ministry. Went to Rock of Ages three times and had great times there meeting all types of people from around the world. Met a real sweetheart girlfriend in the ministry when I was 17, that I lost. Went WOW in 1984 and was sent to Waco, Texas. Ha. What a place to be! Those times are burned into my memory forever. I can never forget them. Being a musician, I took the path of rock music and pursued that career. I have nothing bad to say about the ministry. I still keep God in my heart and keep the personal relationship. That is the most important thing. What would really be cool is to see those people again. A lot of time has passed. - Brian Luper (Va. Beach)

This was my first ROA. I was in the Navy and I flew in from Guam. 9,000 miles and 16 hours in the air to get there. But it was worth it. It is like looking through a portal into another time and certainly a different world compared to now. That was 45 years ago. I see people I remember even now, although I don’t see myself, lol. Great post!

I grew up in this nonsense in the 70s and 80s. VPW was a huckster of the first order and CM was just plain evil. This was all the Woodstock dropouts becoming Jesus Freaks. I notice in the comments that no one mentions all the illicit drug use that occurred in the camping area every single night as well as all the sex. You had people who hadn't even graduated high school trying to translate Aramaic and Ancient Greek...what a joke. Many many children were severely damaged by all the spiritual warfare nonsense well into their adult lives. Every single negative random event was the work of the devil and every single positive random event was a gift from god. Never saw anyone operating the 9 manifestations...but I heard a lot of random babbling and "prophecies" that were nothing more than simplistic affirmations. What a total joke. I saw dozens and dozens of failed healings and 2 disastrous exorcisms LMFAO.And it wasnt cheap- $100 for the PFAL in the mid 70s! Then the Intermediate Class, then the Advanced, Christian Family and Sex...again what a complete joke and load of absolute nonsense. Go WOW! LMFAO Oh you mean a bunch of naive 20yr olds with zero money sharing a rundown apartment eating raimen every night going to train and bus stations to recruit more of the same. My personal favorite was-Ignore everything in the Old Testament...except tithing 10% It went from bad to worse when VPW died...CM in rainbow dance tights and a headband. $5 for a WOW burger in the late 70s. I spent my time more productively gathering bottles and cans out of trash cans and cashing them in at the little market next to the grounds and buying baseball cards. And believe it or not the earth did not open up and swallow me...remember that often used threat? I thoroughly enjoyed watching this junk crumble with all the losers in SE Penn with it in the late 80s. Not one of those idiots was in any way shape or form a successful person. Oh thats because its Satan's world blah blah blah. Destroyed families is what I remember. OK I said my piece. Read the Enuma Elish...the bible is a joke, anyone who worships the god of Adam, is actually worshipping the great deceiver. Have fun with that.
