Diane, I really enjoyed hearing your stories about your trip to Hershey. My dad was from Old Forge, PA. Many years ago after my dad passed away my mom and I took a trip to Old Forge to visit my dad’s family. We lived in Missouri. We made a trip to Hershey and Lancaster County and visited the Amish stores. Such great memories. It was nice hearing you talk about Hershey’s Chocolate World as we went to it too.

Cornelia Meigs wrote Invincible Louisa: a biography of Louisa may Alcott which won a newberry medal. You’d enjoy reading it! And you’re right: looks like a card from the Authors card game but I don’t remember her being part of that game. I have sevl of her books generally youth historical fiction. You do find such cool stuff. Like the collection of empty envelopes, I'm guessing part of a stamp collection. In my MIL's house I've found boxes and boxes of envelopes, from the original owner who was a stamp collector. The tablecloth and your story of having made one reminded me that I have 3 crocheted by my Grandma. 2 have never been used. 1 has been used 3 times. At my parent's wedding reception, their 25th anniversary, and my wedding reception. One of them is funny. Grandma was using a beige thread, ran out near the end and finished the last 3 big scallop edge sections in white.
