  I don't think you can accurately compare the xmaxx to an outcast. xmaxx has a longer wheelbase and is not quite as wide as outcast. Off the top of my head I don't know what each has for a motor and esc, but you have to take that into consideration. I'm not knocking either. Xmaxx sits higher. And the xmaxx may run better on the new belted sledgehammers.

  Losi racing makes a 2.0mm pinion for that motor. But dont even mess with 2.0mm shaft motors it will eventually break on you anyways, it happened to me with the correct pinion on the motor. come to castle creations with me lol..4400,5600,6350kv motors 1/8 bore plus they make sleeves to fit 5mm bore pinions with the.05 mod pitch.

  The pin snapped off because its a 2.0mm shaft motor and that pinion is a 2.3mm so it was off balance. That would explain why the gears where very loud also. I made the same mistake and ended up returning the 2.0mm setup for a 2.3mm and the gears are smooth as butter now.

  You used the stock pinion with a 2.3mm bore whereas you should have used a 2mm sized pinion. It happend to several other KZreadrs. Don’t you take a look what the others are doing?

  Lol, Apparently not. I can see not a creator not watching other reviews before they make theirs so they aren't influenced. Heck, lack of time even more likely. Maybe if enough of these guys break the shaft making the same mistake it'll save more of us from doing it.

  The Outcast is 40 pounds. X-Maxx is about 30 or less.

  Nice video. I have a Xmaxx and a XRT. Both running stock electronics with 20/46 hardened gears. Having a blast with them but may also pick up either the 8s Outcast or Kraton.

  Both excellent monsters. I got both of the, Outcast is stock electronics 30/39. I do have M2C dog bones and thicker shock shafts. Xmaxx is Max5 1100 kv 25/35, I think it’s almost all M2C out. Best 1/5 scale out there

  They're both great 5th scale, I just don't like how the body is designed, I will say that the XMaxx is one tough truck but the gears aren't that great. Great run, awesome video.

  Those method wheels are junk. I roasted a full set on 1 pack drifting around a bit and a few open throttle passes and they were done. Need to get some vipaz wheels.

  Great video from the comments from what I see I guess the RPM arms are two flexible in the heat... I think maybe you just need to have the screws to hold the pins in place that was going to be my next upgrade I'm just saying 💯💨🔥🔥💯🔋👍🏽

  M2C has a Mega Outcast kit!!! We can put the Max4 650kv 70125 Hobbywing in it just like the mega Kraton. I ordered the Mega Kraton yesterday and saw it. My Max 5 760 is basically undrivable on 12s as it is. Not sure how the Max 4 650 would be. I bought 2 Outcast rollers last year when they were on sale and I've had one still in the box waiting for something to do with it. Finally decided to use it for a Mega Kraton build and then I'll have the unused parts for my Outcast if needed.

  I have both trucks. Both have pros and cons. I highly recommend anyone interested in fifth scale cars to get both. That was some odd breaks for the Xmaxx. I typically have to avoid side landings and breaking axle cups. Other than that nothing else really breaks on mine. I did install the complete hinge pin kit though

  Both great trucks 🔥🔥🔥The XMaxx is obviously more durable, but the Outcast is better in every other department. I never run RPM arms in the summer even on my 6s Arrma’s.

  Very nice video comparison. If i didnt already own 2 6s mojave I'd be all over the 4s. Trying to get some solid advice. The choice is between Kraton v1 6s $549 or the kraton 4s v2 with center diff. Help😅
