Thanks for this Queen Ronkeposh. We truly need parents re-engineering as what we see these days with parents shows there is a need to educate parents to be better role models to their children with their actions.

I could like this video a million times dear Ronke. As someone who was overly religious at some time in my life when I was vulnerable, I can relate to this very well. A lot of the hero worship of ministers stem from religious fanaticism and presumptuousness, and also a poor self esteem. Or an extension of culture into religion. I can tell you religion has messed up a lot of people, and it's one of the top reasons for the backwardness in our climes. There's such little emphasis on spiritual growth and development, and yet so much religious fanaticism. Poor character development and yet mindless mob religion. Pastors are human brings. Period!!! Just like you and me, they are prone to errors and mistakes. And the way anyone interprets scriptures has a lot to do with their level of knowledge, exposure, maturity, culture, nurture, and more. Even the Holy Spirit cannot force exposure on you. To church members and Christians, please study the Word of God for yourself and by yourself. And develop a relationship with the Holy Spirit to guide you. This will greatly help to reduce the manipulations from the pulpits. If a pastor says something that does not 🚫 go down well in your spirit, note it and go and confirm from the Bible. Even if it feels right, still go and study to confirm it. Don't allow anyone to bamboozle you with the Word of God. The more time you give to studying, the better for you. Some things in the Bible are contextual and are not absolutes. In summary, do not suspend your brain and thinking faculties just because you have joined a church, or are following a particular minister. God gave you a brain for a reason. If your brain wasn't necessary, God would have left it out completely. He is an orderly and intentional God. Use your brain 🧠. Use it now. Start using it like yesterday. Accord men of God the respect they deserve. But don't make them your God. They are servants of God, just like you. They are only playing a different role. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I love your comment. That's the problem of religion in Africa, particularly in Nigeria. It always seems that whenever we embrace the Christian faith, our brain goes numb and enslaved, vulnerable, and indoctrinated. I believe religion is the biggest and strongest invention of Satan that has enslaved and destroyed the dignity of man.

I enjoyed this and I had to come back to watch. The problem is not the ministers but the people, because they hail and worship them to the extent that it gets into their head and they see themselves as the one and only then pride sets in. So how dare you correct them, everything they say is right, it is pathetic. For me daddy Freeze and VDM they say it the way it is to a large extent even if I don’t agree to a couple of things. My sister, you have said it well until our people realise that these pastors are human and not all knowing, we need to stop praising them unnecessarily but rather speak up and speak out. They are not God! Thank you
