  Nice! Yeah I loved every bumper sequence and intro sequence during that era. From ages 4-10 it was this era of Soul Train and I was glued to the tv 📺 every Saturday after morning cartoons. This was the last cartoon 🚂 to watch before heading out with friends to play haha. For me, if I had to choose a favorite bumper, it was the first one with the front of that dancing machine and the girls of Body singing “Let’s get it on” with Howard Hewitt. The good ol days brotha

  BET when it was still Black owned. Video Soul, Midnight Love, Rap City, BET Nightly News and Teen Summit. And Luster's Pink Moisturizer... My Mom used to put that in me and my brother's hair! Also, I feel like they pushed for education more back then. They had content that could educate, but also entertain.

  Absolutely loved how George Duke mixed a snippet of the sample of “The Souuuuul Train” audio bit throughout the song. You hear it best in the beginning of the song. How George mixed it in different tones. It’s also here and there throughout the song. “The-the-the-the-the-the the the SOUUUUUUUUL TRAIIIIIIN!” Haha. As a kid I didn’t have a clue what that sound was in the intro every Saturday, but come to find out it’s a snippet of the famous “The Souul Train!”
