You can replace it luckily with this board you can.. alot of common problems is that people slamming it off the edges is what breaks it down over time always have a finger ahead of what side your shifting on always use your fingers you dont need to throw your entire fist into it

@@powerbookg4apple Well.. I use Mac too. Denon uses Windows FAT format, so that is why that formating USB stick in correct format might be the issue. If you have e.g. formated that stick with mac there can be another partition, which causes the issue you have. Check with mac's disc utility that what that usb has been eaten. Formating usb with denon should format it in correct format for it, but not sure does it affect, if there is multiple partitions.

had this same issue, only on the left side :/ seems to work alright, but have to push 'up' slightly to avoid the issue. Haven't fixed and happened to me less than 2 months after owning :/

Same problem here => but on Denon DJ MC4000 => Great controller but the crossfader started bleeding randomly on the left side after a year of moderate use and scratching / sound bleeds through even if fully closed /=> I see a lot of people having the same problem => Denon should do a more solid work on their crossfaders ... Any ideas on what causes it and how to fix it?!

Your fader is leaking, most common cause is because of a lot of scratching... most controllers can only handle so much compared to a stand alone mixer that is made for this kind of thing

hey i want to start creating music and i have looked into getting a MASCHINE MIKRO but i havent any clue what else im going to need or what software im going to have to buy , but if you or anyone in the comments have any suggestions or thoughts on what i should buy or know be for i go spending money id appreciate it

You need software like Ableton Live 9 or Logic Pro X or FL Studio, which includes software instruments. I recommend to buy first midi keyboard like Novation Launchkey 25 MK2 (or bigger version, if you need more keys), which includes light version of Ableton. You can try it first and create songs. If you like it, you can upgrade it and get more functionalities and instruments. Maschine (also mikro) includes also Maschine 2 software, which is similar like Ableton, but IMHO Ableton is better. I use Maschine 2 through Ableton. I think you get more from midi keyboard than Maschine, if you are at the beginning of your music career. Anyway.. good software and good software instruments gives you more than selected hardware. I use Ableton and Logic. Ableton is easier to learn. Hope you found something from this answer. KZread is good for learning. There is a lot of tutorials e.g. for Ableton. Try to find good software synths for selected genre like Native Instrument's Massive is good tool for bass music.

Could you explain what is the problem or how did you get to that situation that serato does not respond on anything what you do with Denon? I had a few situations when I got Denon totally stuck, but after I updated firmware to latest version, I have not had those problems anymore.

BTW Power Denon OFF and back ON fixed my problem, but that is not a solution when you are playing a gig

serato keep working, music too, mixer, headphones and all funcions keep working, but screen hd and every light freezes, the only solution is turn on/off the unit. it happen not only with serato, with a usb memory too.

Sounds similar problem, which I had before firmware update. Press and hold (View) -button > Utility -view opens. Check System Information. I have.. Engine Version: 0164 Display Version: 5170 MCU Version: 2065. If you have older versions, check Denon MCX8000 support page and Downloads from bottom of page: www.denondj.com/mcx8000
