Hi welcome to my new KZread channel “Farnborough Aviation” which I set up in April 2023. I already operate a KZread channel for Heathrow called “Heathrow Aircraft - past and present” youtube.com/@HeathrowAircraft and this is a companion channel very much in the same style as my Heathrow channel, but dedicated to traffic at my local airport - Farnborough in Hampshire.
I hope you enjoy the content - please feel free to comment and feedback on what you enjoy! Best wishes Steve.

Nice Catch
@vc10aviation thanks a lot! 👏👏
Do you have any idea what time the Virgin plane is arriving tomorrow?
@DavidS-eh9oo Hi David - sorry for late reply - yes it was an early bird this morning as you’ve probably seen by now 😢
I cant wait to go to RIAT tommorow!
@fulltimewithjake1094 Have an amazing time! Take lots of photos!! 👍
I saw the F16 in US Bicentennial Colours at Farnborough in 1976. Haven't you got anything new? ;-)
@NicEvans20 let’s see what comes in over the next few days….i know Boeing won’t be flying the 777 or 737 max this year sadly…
Nice Catches
@vc10aviation Hi thanks a lot! Looking forward to the next week!
I work at Cody next door and they were out testing today. Incredible
@@snapshot_of_life Hi yes I caught some of it - I’ve put it on my Farnborough Aviation FB page if you’re interested facebook.com/share/v/dFLbW7zh3CuHVHG9/?mibextid=WC7FNe
for someone that lives in a neighbouring town, its rlly annoying
@JakesAviations Hi Jake - yes I’m local too. You certainly can’t block the sound out in the run up to and during Airshow week 🤣
WOMPPPPP WOMPPPPP
@@flightlines6337 your about 9.
@@flightlines6337it really was! Especially as they came right over me!

Interesting with G-KOLO FA8X. At 03:55 the landing lights are strobing, then at 04:05 the pilot changes them to constant.
@MarkFromEastleigh - that’s very observant of you - I hadn’t noticed that! They received landing clearance at that point too- wonder if that’s why?
I stood outside my house and watched them this afternoon with the older aircraft that came in, they looked as if they did a validation flight, I live by the canal about 1/4 mile away, looks like you had a great position there, great video.
@MichaelVanata Hi Michael yes they spent a good few minutes performing some circuits didn’t they - with strict instructions from tower not to exceed 2,700 feet 🤣 Just watched from my house their practice today - I’ve put it on my Farnborough Aviation Facebook page if you’re interested. Best wishes Steve
Had a guided tour round Gulfstream's plant in Savannah way back in 1994 when the G4s were in production. I wish it could happen again and see these awesome G700s on the line.
@MarkFromEastleigh That sounds amazing - what a tour! G700 tour would be the icing on the cake wouldn’t it!
This or a global 8000 are a dream flight for me. I've been on a Honda Jet and a cirrus vision, which were incredible experiences but I've never got to step foot in something like this, I hope I get to some day,even if it's just a tour and not a flight.
@alexmaclean1 I hope you get the chance to see one close up soon! I bet the Honda Jet experience was good too!!
We can send videos around the world instantly and wirelessly, yet airport radios still sound like they're encased in jello.
@alexmaclean1 😂yes very true!
Dang. All they need now is afterburners
@cdnmetelhead4013 🤣Yes you’re right! 🚀
Getting one soon as I sell my old Harley
@ronaldtaylir9688 🤣👏👏👍
I've heard that many pilots prefer the falcon over the Gulfstream. Is there any truth to that and if so, why
@user1yq5od9uj3f Have a look at this article where BizJet pilots decide on their favourite type! www.bjtonline.com/business-jet-news/bizjet-pilots-pick-their-favorite-airplanes
@@FarnboroughAviation-nb2or Thanks. That gave me a lot of info I can research.
@@user-yq5od9uj3fHi Rick you’re welcome. Cheers Steve
man... that new 6x is just all motor, barely in the air and climb rate is spectacular and doesn't stop. Just make sure they haven't started drink service yet.
@wafflesnfalafel1 🤣👏👏absolutely! Champers spilled everywhere is not a good look 🥂
An elegant design. Plus, did anyone notice the Falcon 2000 left two faint smoke trails as it was climbing, and the G700 left none.
@Puzzoozoo Good call! Well spotted! 👏
My studies for the private pilot course are already in the final stretch, I just need to schedule the ANAC test, and then I can start with my practical jet and helicopter class
@goretejacobsendasilva4981 👏That’s amazing. Very well done!!! 👍👍

@AbdulKhan-kj5mk Hi Abdul thanks a lot. That was some takeoff wasn’t it?!!
Incredible, it did a super short landing in Jersey after this, used about 2200ft of runway
@julietsierrayankee2498 Ah awesome! Yes I saw it was due to fly to Jersey today. 👏👏

Another WOW factor of clip Steve👍👍👍👍
@AbdulKhan-kj5mk Hi Abdul - thank you so much. More to come! 😉 All good wishes; Steve
Wow that G700 seemed to get airborne much faster than the Challenger did. Beautiful aircraft it is.
@nohandle242 yes it’s a lovely looking aircraft isn’t it?!
The Challenger probably had more payload weight, which is why it probably took longer to get off the ground.
@@terryheggs1046yes I think you’re right. The G700 was only going to Edinburgh so wouldn’t have necessarily had a big fuel payload.
Great coverage thanks.
@INTERSETI thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it!

@matthiashaenni Hi Matt thank you very much - glad you enjoyed it! All the best. Steve

@RLVIDEOS2024 Thanks a lot. Loved that engine sound - and the silence after it had departed - just the bird song!

About Elons taste; I don't know if this fits. It is nice. But it is cliche. I mean Tailor Swift mmmmk. Justin Bieber mmmmk . Why not go for a CJ or RJ 800….Embraer.
🤔 yes good point - interesting! The G700 has received FAA type certification approvals now so we will find out soon no doubt!
Another set of beautiful clips on take off's and landings at Farnborough ❤❤❤
@AbdulKhan-kj5mk Hi Abdul - thank you so much! It’s been a strange week weather wise - rain, stormy wind and bright sunshine - good for spotting though! Have a lovely weekend. All the best Steve
Hi, where do you stand to watch? I live by the airport and always been fascinated.
Hi James I stand for Runway 24 on the road behind the aviator hotel. And for runway 06 there’s the Bailey bridge at Laffan’s Road.
@@FarnboroughAviation-nb2or awesome thank you! Also what radio do you have to listen to the atc and pilots?
