Wow, this was by fast the best explanation of painting the ocean. I really cannot understand why so less people have seen this video. For me it took almost a month until KZread suggested it although I watch gouache videos almost all the time. I hope you keep on going with your tutorials despite the low figures. It must be the algorithm…, I don’t understand it. It seems strange for me. I assume you need a lot of patience… I loved this tutorial. And now I will see if you did some more. I pray you did. Thank you very very much and many greetings from Europe 💕

Does the x have a chemical smell at all or strong. I suffer from migraines and have been in search for a varnish for my gauche paintings. Thank :)
@BleesArt5 ай бұрын
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear about the migraines! The wax has a light putty smell, it's not terribly strong but you can smell it. I do believe they list their ingredients on the Jacquard website.

Hello! I've torn using this method with a variety of bristol paper, which from my experience is similar. I feel like the only paper I've tried this on that doesn't give as jagged of an edge is like copy paper.

I don't mind at all when people reproduce for learning purposes! And thank you for the feedback, that's flattering <3 I am hoping to get better at making videos that spread conservation awareness as I make more wildlife & landscape paintings <3

I absolutely love your art! Liked and subbed! I grew up in CT, the Cromwell/Middletown area. I miss it so, so much. Also, pro-tip - when removing your tape, use a heating tool or hair dryer. It won't mess with the gouache and the heat makes the sticky stuff on the tape much less sticky. Since doing this I haven't torn a single page. Good luck!!!
@BleesArt Жыл бұрын
You're so sweet, thank you!!! That's cool that you grew up in CT too, small world! I miss CT sometimes as well, we just moved to Florida last winter, and still getting used to the weather. And yes you're totally right - usually heat works for me when I take off the tape but I was impatient and made silly mistakes 😅 Thankfully it's just a sketchbook!
