It feels like some random producer from the a K-POP/J-POP label was like “I hate how simple modern pop is, let’s go more polyphonic but alternative. 1st search result on Google lead to Polyphia. That label just bought one of those tracks and adapted it to contain vocals. Polyphia wouldn't have collabed with Sophia Black if they didn't like her work, and wouldn't have put the song out if they didn't like her lyrics, so why insult her? They'd take her side, you're not complimenting them by saying it's better with just them Like I fucking love the clean instrumental, but these comments are braindead
@Zen.Finnson5 ай бұрын
I mean I personally prefer it without her, the band is so insanely tight. But having her on it definitely helps it appeal to a more mainstream “pop” audience because this music generally isn’t very suited towards a larger audience. I don’t think having her on it is a bad thing, but this is awesome.
@sanabanana833 ай бұрын
Thank you. I like to think of her vocals as another instrument. There are parts of the song where she's carrying the melody, and it definitely feels like there's something missing without her. I do like this instrumental, because it helps me really appreciate the bass, but Sophia completes this song.
@jackc.52712 ай бұрын
Brain dead is a really strong word to use here, it's just people saying they like the song better without vocals. Sophia is a good singer, I just strongly dislike the tiktok dojacat inspired type of music, and that is exactly how she chooses to sing. It's a matter of preference, nobody is "brain dead" for having an opinion about it.
