Cant believe you actually pulled the "Socialism is when government does stuff" and "Communism is when government does even more stuff" card. There is so much wrong with this video. Also dictatorship isnt a type of government per say, more so a way to describe what interest group or class determines policies, the USA is a dictatorship, so is China. Differance is which class dictates, in the US its the capitalists that hold actual sway in politics via lobbying (aka legalized bribery) and on China its dominated by worker democracy, especially more important in the economy as Chinese workers socially own their workplaces. (atleast in areas where private business are not allowed)

What a terrible video. I have issues with almost everything said but here are my main corrections. 1. The USA is not a democracy, it is an oligarchy. 2. Communism is not a form of government, neither is socialism: - Communism is a social and distribution structure, it is defined as a societal structure that is Stateless (No government), moneyless (No currency), and classless (no social classes). - Socialism is a form of societal property rights, which is why it is opposite to capitalism which itself is defined by that systems property rights. Socialism put simply is "Worker control of the means of production". 3. Literally nothing you said about anarchy/anarchism is correct. Anarchism does not mean 'no government or rules', and by it's very function reduces confusion. Anarchism is an ideological framework that includes things like analytical tools, strategies, and theories of organisation. Anarchism's main opposition is with hierarchy, not rules. Rules are needed but those rules CANNOT be enforced by a hierarchical structure, only through the people agreeing to rules that they themselves set in place. The end-goal of anarchism is anarchy, which is basically the same end goal of communism, a stateless, moneyless, classless society of free agreement, solidarity, non-coercion, and horizontal power. 4. Meritocracy simply does not exist. Meritocracy in actuality is just the State socially conditioning people to act how they want through positive reinforcement of desired actions. It's the exact same mentality of giving a pet a treat for following a command. Please refrain from making videos on topics in which you don't even understand the surface level fundamentals of. Especially one so lazily put together. I recommend looking up the Dunning-Kruger effect and researching techniques to protect yourself from it, as it is painfully obvious that you are trying to be a voice of fact/authority on a subject that you know absolutely nothing about.

@@hyun5985 Explain how it isn't an oligarchy? Oligarchy basically is rule of the few, where the masses are alienated from the decision-making process. Perfectly describes the US to me. You could argue that my definition might just be a a different name for representative 'democracy', though I tend not to use that term as it implies that the people have some level of decision-making ability, which they don't.

@@kaanyasin3733 I can see why you believe this, but I don't agree. Accountability (which it is debatable on if rulers have) is not the same as access to structural power or decision making. A real representative democracy would have to go to the people for ratification on every bill that is written. They represent the people in an administrative sense but ultimately the masses must give the OK for legislation to go ahead. This does not happen in current-day USA. In the US (for the most part, there are always rare exceptions) people vote for reps that they think align with them and just hope that they write/pass good legislation. Being able to decide who the oligarchs are doesn't stop it from being an oligarchy.
