    @@ciroiriarte8804 gotta be careful with that on certain models, it only supports the roof & can make areas brittle

    @@ciroiriarte8804 I tried it with a helmet once and it was a no go, it’s something you have to play with walls & Infill% sometimes the print time vs integrity loss vs more walls kind of defeats the purpose. I wouldn’t say I don’t recommend I would say use wisely

    @@hmakky no, rub n buff, graphite powder will smudge off when you handle it, this technique is way better

    It’s wild, all I see for sale on like Instagram and Etsy etc are the ones covered in cloth being showcased… but unlike other props in the cosplay community… I have yet to see anyone creating content on how to make them using the available face shell models out there like zaack3d makes for example.

    ok I am gonna do a Chess set... and now it looks like a pain for me to do all 32 pieces... wish there will be a day that we don't have to do this.

    Best thing to do is print a real tall riser with the ability to drop a spool ontop for TPU so it can go straight into the extruder. The newest K1 max has the pla warning but do to animal hair floating around I keep top on. Have riser vents in the corners. Hundreds of prints no problem

    Yea I need to print a top load spool. The rear loader I feel is odd and add restriction to the flow of the filament

    I printed a mark 6 helmet and got the crashworks boards and everything works great but when the servos loose tension after opening the faceplate the faceplate just falls back down.

    @@Yourbeautiful666 it’s a silk print, no sanding required on these you can change settings to get it a bit smoother but I’ve had no complaints

    Just used the filler primer on some areas on my car and it seems fine, of corse im letting it cure over night like i normally do for 1k rattle can primers , ive always had issues trying to rush stuff

    Just used this, it’s my first time ever painting a car and I used this on my car hood. Horrible experience. I’ve used 4 of their cans and I’m pretty sure I’m STILL not done. Ugh.

    @@Darkwingdad too small of a spray for auto body and too little in the can. And yes, I did follow the directions on how to use it.

    @@kerokerobonito3664 yea it’s ok for small projects, check out upol expert bust autozone it has a large fan spray & dries super quick!

    BTW - if you have any tips on how-to - I’m interested to see some ways of taking a whole model and breaking it down to manageable pieces to print; along with kit-bashing. Thanks again and keep up the great, to-the-point vids :)

    @@MoMarinePrepper you’d need a different program to do that, something like blender, you have to go in manually and seperate the file with boolean cut tool

    Thank you for this! I’m still trying to figure out how to use this, and doesn’t seem as intuitive as I would have hoped. I like the simple way you showed to subtract, and adding a cylinder overlay’ to do so when you can’t ungroup. I’ll def will use this. If you’d care to share any other ‘simple’ quick tips etc I would be most appreciative. Thanks again!

    I got the HUAXIAYINZA0 Silk Copper Pla filament from Temu and it looked great. I even ordered a second spool of it. Also your not suppose take the blue seal off the vacuum bag. Theres a video on Temu showing how to use it and the pdf tnere says dont tear it off.

    Your prints are amazing. Stumbled across your channel a few days looking into silk printing. My question(s) for you are what is your go to printer and slicer for most if not all of your prints? Is there one or two different types/ models you prefer?

    For standard prints I like Bowden fdm printers user cura For klipper I love my k1 max & orca slicer

    Best upgrade for my K1 max was to use the B plate for the build surface, I have been printing PETG and the A plate seems to de laminate after a few prints, also I have the upgraded unicorn nozzles so jams seem to be less on these.

    I'm lazy I just poke the next lot of filament in the tube when the other is running out. you just keep pushing it in until the gear picks it up then just push a little more just in case there is a retraction, once an inch or so is past the drive you are fine to let it go by itself.
