1992? Wow. 3 years late. We 🇬🇧 had this in 1989.

It's important not to forget that this was a remix, and the original song was indeed a ballad. They explored and polished their electronic sound in their 1996 album, Walking Wounded. That album is where they became an electronic duo. It's worth checking it out, because there you can see a more consistent electronic-ballad balanced sound, as the songs were created under an electronic music mindset.

A LOT of Divinyls' songs have that 'haunting' quality. It's hard to define why, but it's there. I recommend 'Victoria'.

I think Fools Gold was only on the American version of the album as it was released after the album in the U.K. (and went to no.1)

It's an extreme intro to Japan and isn't what I'd use to introduce anyone to them, but knowing them, it's a fantastic example of their range of work.

Travis are massively underrated, they set the ground work for bands like Coldplay and Snow Patrol, although in my opinion much better than both.check out, Blue Flashing Light, writing to reach you, turn, all I wanna do is rock, reoffender, battleships, driftwood and why does it always rain in me. Also their cover of Hit Me Baby One More Time

I've been a Depeche mode fan since 1983. I saw them live in 1990 at Dogder stadium in Los Angeles for the Violator tour. At the time I didn't think they could top that. But they did with Songs of Faith and Devotion and the Devotional tour. A masterpiece.

This song is NOT representative of the Suede arsenal. I could suggest at least 30 other songs from Suede that bury this track. Suede were going thru some unfortunate issues whilst making this album and it's just a bit off. Still better than most anything being churned out by the industry at the time. Cheers for giving them a go at least. If you would like some suggestions, let me know and I'll give you some good tunes by Suede. Regards.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

Stereophonics are great! Plenty of tracks to react to. Another great Welsh rock band is 'The Manic Street Preachers' - try 'Motorcycle Emptiness' as an intro, or 'A Design for Life' (but don't watch the video for that, it's crap)

Some "singers" use autotune because they can barely sing. Cher can actually sing. She used autotune for the effect.
