  Dude the reason there's still no dragon and magic carpet was because they were both destroyed by the fire. Rebuilding the dragon is going to take time because of how massive it was, and not to mention the installation of it back to the island. Personally, I'm grateful they brought back the show with what they still had and I understand that replacing the dragon and the mechanisms for the carpet is going to take longer to repair due to their technicalities compared to the rest of the show's elements.

  So Fantasmic is currently different at the end because they have to REBUILD the dragon since it was completely burned down in the fire. Also, after Disney basically tried to blacklist Johnny Depp without even knowing all the facts during the Amber Turd case, I'm glad they aren't daring to use Jack Sparrow in much. While most people know what Disney did to Peter Pan's original actor (Bobby Driscoll) and it is unforgivable, Johnny Depp is still living. So it feels like less of a slap in the face to use Peter Pan for profit instead of Jack Sparrow, a character that will always only ever be Johnny. Most changes are still under revision, as explained by imagineers and such, but the dragon is most likely coming back once it's rebuilt, as are several other things that were literally DESTROYED IN A FIRE. So before people continue to criticize them for doing what they can at the time, it's best to know the facts. The current 2024 Fantasmic is a stand in because it's been 13 months since it was last functional. I don't expect Fantasmic to actually be "ready" until 2026, at the earliest late 2025.

  So the ignorant dude being like "We want Jack" needs to sit down 💀 The show is great for the moment and "Disney Fans" being so upset that they're not using charred remains or ash (since that'd likely all that's left of most of the old show) are the biggest joke 💀

  They're currently rebuilding the dragon since it was completely destroyed in the fire. 35 foot tall Maleficent is just a stand in until they can build a new dragon up to code.

  Song of the South was one of Walt's personal projects and remains a charming, funny and moving film. It's set during reconstruction, post slavery, and Uncle Remus is free to leave -- and in fact does move away to Atlanta in the film before returning at the climax. The kids are shown to have bonds free of class or race bias -- all are affected by the the wonderful storyteller and the search for a "laughing place" to cope with life's problems. Walt's animators felt the cartoon sequences were among their very best work. The film always played well in reissue and its sad to see it unfairly disrespected.

  I’ve never seen the film but… hearing stories from it makes it sound lovely. I don’t know why people are judging it so harshly when they’ve never even seen it. Like me. The only experience I had was it was with the ride splash mountain. And I don’t know how closely it is with the film, but, I enjoyed it. And if that means anythin’ then… maybe I’ll enjoy the film too
