7 years later. I’m still trooping with my RS TK. It’s awesome. I need to adjust my shoulders because I started weightlifting and the shoulders don’t fit anymore 😂. I’ll be ordering shoulder and arms from RS soon 😊

Thank u for helping me with what version of stormtrooper i should get. I just wore mine from rs and it’s looks awesome. My ? Is what modifications did u do to keep the calf from coming apart because of the 3 clips in the back of calf. Would u say use white velcro along back of calf or do something different.

I’m 6.3 wonder if that will be an issue, have been looking at RS props Snowtrooper & TIE pilot kit, looks excellent

Hey, brother! It will still fit you, but the only issue you may have is that the black undersuit will show a little bit more at your knees and elbows. The standard height of a stormtrooper is between 5'9" and 6'2", but I've seen plenty of people on 501st troops that were shorter or taller. At 6'3" you could also be an amazing Death Trooper from Rogue One or a Darth Vader who wouldn't have to use lifts in their shoes. Best of luck to you.

Great review and armour. I really like the Blaster as it's based on the British Sterling 9mm SMG. Also too the white boots which form factor wise are known as Chelsea Boots with their elastic sides and 'tugs' to pull on the boot.

Just saw this and i was curious which, version did u get. I know its ABS, But did u get the ANH, ESB, or the Stunt. And why? Plz thanks.

Hi Jay! I got the ANH Stunt because most of the 501st troopers wear this phase of the armor. This is good, because the uniform look on troops is good. I did stunt rather than hero, because the bubble lenses are really difficult to see through, compared to the flat lenses. Hope this helps!

This armor is made for people between 5’9” and 6’2”. There are some makers who have made smaller sizes for kids. You might check out Walt’s Trooper Factory on Facebook and send him a personal message. I know that he has made smaller kits for kids in the past.

I use velcro for the shin armour because it's easy and that way you can see what you are doing?

THE most accurate, regardless of what other armor suppliers want you to believe. RS is cast directly off a screen used ANH suit so it is perfectly imperfect with all the correct bumps and asymmetries it's supposed to have. And they also offer a version that is more idealized with the bumps etc smoothed out. Just depends on what you want. While not as fast to put on as my old school FX (see starwarshelmets.com for comparisons of all makers), it is great to see the attention to accuracy even down to the correct webbing and hooks. Just incredible. I only wish RS had existed in the mid 90s when us early 501st ers started collecting armor.

Sure! The standard height of on-screen stormtroopers ranged from 5'9" to 6', but because of the gaps between the armor, I've seen guys that are 6'2" fit great too.
