  Hy sir I have seen your helpful presentation and I would like to thank your effort. But eventhough I had insall the toolbox unable to fix the problem. It alarmes and send a message error encountered; my I get a solution. my Arc gis version is 10.7

  Hey GeoFranker. You are totally saving me some time! Thanks for the uploads. With lots of commercial remote sensing software out of the purchasing power of smaller contractors/companies etc. it can be tough to find open source remote sensing options. If you know of any other good tutorial locations - especially for GEOBIA/segmentation stuff, I'd be much obliged.

  PCI Geomatics, I watched the Object Analyst video. Nice solid workflow! I really like that approach. I have worked with a variety of software ERDAS, eCognition, ENVI, OpenSource and Feature Analyst. I have not yet used PCI Geomatics, but can draw some comparisons and advantages while watching your demonstration video. It looks like it is a solid offering for the industry! I intend to give an evaluation at some point in the future. Years ago, I would have set shadows aside to use with other GIS data based on relationships and proximity. I like the PCI approach to clean up mis-classified image segments! Very nice! Thanks for posting!

  Hello GeoFranker !! Thank for the tutorial there is almost no tutorial for OTB monterverdi 6.2.0, great job. PLease do you know how to do orthorectification, pansharpening and mosaicking of spot 6 primary data ?

  Gerard, Thank you for the question. I'm still learning the details of OTB myself. I hope to convey my knowledge using demonstration videos in the spirit of "being a new user" myself. The benefit being is that I have been implementing remote sensing workflows for more than 20 years using commercial software. I have not processed SPOT imagery using OTB yet. SPOT 5/6/7 are listed as supported sensors for orthorectification in OTB. Pansharpening is in OTB, there are 3 available algorithms. And, as the video shows, mosaicking is available for rectified imagery. It may be a while before I create a video demonstrating a workflow, but I will post it here if I do. Hope that helps!
