  Hey Daynean, you should try out the new Statik Shiv on 14.11. When i first saw the stat updates I was really excited. Although there is no crit, theres 7% ms with 45% as with 55 ad as well as 120 magic damage when you kill minions. This proc actually pokes in lane and helps you scale crazy fast due to the wave clear. It also scales into crazy damage in teamfights as you build into IE, LDR, yuntal etc. You should try it, but you will have to play lane quite differently.

  depends on first item i think if you go collector, you get more value out of maxing E cuz you end up with some 35-40 Lethality super early in the game. if you go IE first, i think Q has more value i like to go 2q2w and then max e

  I really want to play aphelios but I don't know how or where to start do i go practice dummies in practice tool or do I go get owned in draft until i figure it out i really want to master him but i dunno how to even start

  Play normals. You will get bodied like 6 out of 10 games if you don't have good fundamentals about ADC. If you farm well you will have the chance to win some games, even if you don't do good combos or you take a bad weapon rotation. Aphelios isn't a champ you can play one game and want to get 20.0 KDA, so be mentally prepared that it will take time to learn him, but you will get results while you progress (is really good seeing how you win matchups that before you were thinking that were unplayable) Sorry for bad english, not my language - Aphelios OTP Diamond

  And if you are bad at farming, I recommend going into practice tool against a Caitlyn, buy only boots and potions, and try to farm the most you can without dying to Caitlyn (don't attack her back, she is mean to poke you constantly)

  its shit. You wont have enough damage to sustaint properly. If you want a defensive option for first item against some bursty opponent, like jhin/lux, well first, dont get catch and take cleanse. And second immortal shieldbow is a better first item option cause it dosn't delay to much your damage output for the team as you can easily put a ie second item to maximize that crit investment while still being able to survive someone's burst. But, that's a pussy moove. The best defense is offense. If you want to kick ass of bursty champions they are usually squishy. So collector IE is a better option in my pov. Take fleet foot work to have a bit of sustain in the laning phase, and enough mobility to dance around the caster's spells. Be ahead, try to be good on xp and normaly, no one should be able to touch you. (except for that sett bastard, i hate him) (And don't forget to buy mercurial scepter instead of bt against cc champ like lissandra, malzahar, ww, etc.) It's way better on this cases.
