    Lol.. im almost 60yrs old and i absolutely love my fat tire Walmart $735 ebike.. its awesome.. i bought a few gas powered bikes but once u own 1 u realize they aren't exactly practical.. too loud.. i mean that's why they make mopeds and scooters . If they could make a nice quiet 50cc that would be great

    If I may be so bold: I honestly appreciate a channel that interacts with the viewers; but that being said, I'm not here for the BigRS Show, I'm here to watch Jason discuss bikes and cycling. With all respect towards Mrs. J, can Jason please complete a sentence without being interrupted? It's especially irritating when Jason is trying to answer someone's SERIOUS question, but is repeatedly interrupted by useless, inane comments between viewers, that don't need to vocalized for the rest of the audience.

    Great tutorial. I find it amazing how difficult those cones are to find! They gotta be worth pennies, yet... I suppose that's the reason they're hard to find, where's the profit in selling such a small part that few rarely need. I notice mine has some small pitting, bearings still appear 100%, not flaking glitter dust like this one... but, you know my surprise when I try to get a new cone.

    FIVE miles and under.... absolutely! Ten miles is doable. My battery went bad in my truck and I had to ride my bike forty eight miles home. It wasn't fun but I did it in three hours and that is not an exaggeration. I was so upset I was taking my frustration out riding.

  • @alloutbikes

    The problem with finding someone who knows how to "stunt ride" this swing bike is close to retirement age and is not willing to hurt themselves. Keep in mind this bike was made 49 years ago. I know they make similar swing bikes today but they are far and few between. I can't try to much on this bike due to the fact that the frame is broken. Thanks for commenting. We will probably do some future videos on it.👍

    I have an old Chromoly "MTN TEK" 7 X 3 speed which I guess was sold by Pedersen's Sporting Goods as a house brand. Looking at the frame and components, though, I think it must have been built by Trek. Hard to find a lot of information about that. Anyway, I bought in the 90s and rode it only rarely, but now I ride it daily, with a new seat and tires. I love it and am glad I hung onto it.

    If leaning back or putting more weight on the rear goose neck seat post may help right? one would think. I think it can be done and improved for sure moving the center of gravity more towards the rear wheel I am unsure about breaking but know some motor skateboards have hand controls I would guess you could rig up a handgrip over a short pipe for a hand break with an average length break cable if the read break is a must and the vertical tube seems in that design does lean forward I assume by design one could set it back a few more degrees to bring it back to an almost vertical or a bit towards the back but just my idea's I am just a laymen and am sure an engineer would be better at a design but if someone was really skilled at CAD could toss something with a tweak or two like described maybe worth a look.

    can i use MTB frame replace for BMX bikes ?

  • @alloutbikes
    @alloutbikes11 күн бұрын

    Not really. The geometry is different. Also the frames on the bmx bikes tend to be a little more stout. You can make a single speed mtb bike and put a bmx handlebar to make a wheelie bike but you have to come up with some sort of chain tensioner due to the wrong type of dropouts. Most mtb bike rely on a derailleur to keep the chain tight.
