We're Lior and Mirit and we're just a couple of ordinary people who decided to travel the world full time.
Our planning and focus led us to retire before 40. We decided to take advantage of our free time and travel. It was always something we wanted to do, and thankfully we now have the opportunity to do so. We truly believe that if you can imagine it, you can achieve it. We are a living example.
We're hoping our channel can provide insight and knowledge and hopefully a few tips and tricks.

6:24 something that is NEVER mentioned in youtube videos is that your phone needs to be unlocked before being able to put in the SIM card. even an e-SIM won't work if your phone is unlocked. So at least with americans with AT&T, if you're still paying for your phone, your phone is NOT unlocked...it needs to be fully paid off before you can unlock your phone.
Excellent point. I didn't even realize phones can still be locked lol. Thanks for the information!
Awesome budget! What insurance do you guys use? Is it $75 per person? Thank you soo much!
@@timjoygray currently we have one from Europe, and it's $75 combined. However, we just signed up for a new one here in Bangkok with AXA and it's cheaper.
@@fulltimeabroad wow! Thats great! Is it just for Thailand or for the entire SE Asia? We definitely have to look into it. Thank you soo much for the info! Also we just subscribed to your channel & we need to catch on all your videos including Vietnam. Our plan is to slow travel (Thailand as our base) like you guys but just afraid of the insurance premiums due to pre-existing conditions (cancer & open heart surgery for mechanical heart valve replaced) and my husband (deaf in left ear & had a cochlear implant surgery. We hope to retire early in 2 to 3 years at 48 or 49 depending on our finances. You guys are very inspiring especially with your budget. Thank you again!
The travel insurance is for the world, with some exceptions. It does not cover you in Thailand, so we will also need a separate policy next time we come to Thailand. We are looking at two options, AXA (AXA offers a domestic policy for Thailand) and Genki. Not sure yet which one we will choose. Thank you for the kind words, we are very grateful...and I hope it works out for you guys. We believe slow travel fits us more than fast. I can't even imagine the planning and moving around every few days or weeks. When you stay for a month plus, you kind of get a feeling of being home and feeling like a local because you start to recognize the same people and you go to the same places and they already know you by name. We really enjoy it.

สวัสดีค่ะ🙏
We are going to hua hin, in December this year , your vid has been very helpful thanks ... pete uk
Thank you 😊 If you have any questions, please let us know!
That is very similar to my monthly UK budget but in £ instead of $. I have family in Hua Hin so i might ask them their budget. But they do go to expat charity events etc so theirs may be around £2,000 or perhaps less as they own their own property.
What's great about Hua Hin is that you can spend as much or little as you desire, upscale or budget friendly. We can't wait to go back!

Love your videos. Looking forward to your AirBnB stay in Bangkok.
Thank you! Our Airbnb in Bangkok is quite the adventure. We will definitely talk about it in an upcoming video.
Bus fare is paid in advance online? Types of payment accepted? Thank you.
Yes, we paid in advance. However, you can buy at the kiosk at the airport, but we didn't want to take any chance that there might not be any seats left. We paid with credit card. Not sure what other online payments they accept.
She is tooo cute. Let her talk more brother. You guys make a cute couple, always smiling so you both are happy. Love these videos on Thailand
Thank you for the kind words! 🙂 We appreciate it.
So you haven't retired...... You're asking me to subscribe to fund your travel? Yeah right 😂😂
No matter how you feel about KZreadrs asking for subscriptions, we love making videos and building a community. We think we have some good info to share. Thanks for your feedback!
Don't take any notice of this vlog, not until the new 60 day visa free on arrival is published in the Thai Royal Gazette will it be effective.... So until then its still 30 days visa exemption on arrival being given
Yes, you are correct. It still hasn't been introduced. A few reports did show that it was going to be active June 1st, however, as we all know now, that is not case. Regardless, everyone should always check VISA travel requirements before booking any travel.
do not rent a motorcycle, 2 friends were killed in December/January, stay away from Motorcycles in SE Asia. Also never buy a SIM at the airport, go to any shopping mall and go to AIS, $10 USD for unlimited data for 1 month!!!!!
Nice tip for the AIS. You couldn't pay us to get on a motorcycle here. We'll happily walk, taxi or rent a car.
We spend at least $2,000 CAD in Hua Hin, including renting a vehicle, not including airfare and health insurance, Hua Hin is #1 in SE Asia for my wife and I, nothing comes close (so far), and we have been to many places!!!!
So we're actually converting to USD for the video, because we also use CAD. So it was $1600 CAD but we didn't rent a car. Next time we will rent one as there is so much nature around that's not easy to get to without a vehicle. We love Hua Hin and it's going to be a destination for us a few times a year!
thanks for the water tip. I buy the sim card at the airport cuz using grab to get to hotel.
Yeah, that's always an issue 😃 Depending on the location, you can get a very cheap esim on airalo (if your phone supports esim) to get you through the first few days. If you've never used it before, I believe you get a nice discount on your first purchase.
appreciate this video...Nha Trang is definitely on my list when I begin my slow travel journey...new subscriber here.
Thanks for the sub! Much appreciated! We loved Nha Trang. Big enough to keep you busy, but small enough to get some peace and quiet. If you have any questions, let me know!
אחלה סרטונים. איזה ביטוח בריאות עשיתם?
תודה רבה, מעריכים מאוד! הביטוח שלנו מאירופה, אבל כל ביטוח נסיעות יכול להתאים
Great thank you. I assume you speak in US$
That's correct :-) I should mention it next time
한국은 무비자 90일 줍니다
It's definitely on our list!
Thanks for the video. Did you pick your seat or was it first come-first served?
We picked our seat.
Many thanks for sharing your Hua Hin video and great information! We are also staying in La Castita next month and can't wait.
You're going to love it!
Hua Hin is a lovely area for retirement ❤
I agree. Close enough to Bangkok, but far enough away for the peace and quiet
Is Ireland on the 60 day visa on arrival?
Nothing has been implemented yet, but it appears Ireland is on the list based on some news reports. However, always check visa requirements before booking any travel.
Bo fai is near airport and makro
Baht buses are 15 baht take you from kao takiab to anywhere in hua hin. Brilliant value
We stay in kao takiab in the little village over the bridge nice peaceful luvly little restaurants. Also cicada market in kao takiab
Cicada was such a nice surprise for us. We really enjoyed the music
היי לגבי ניידות כמה עולה לשכור קטנוע בהואה הין?
היי! אפשר למצוא אותם בכל מקום. ממה שראינו זה היה בסביבות 250 באט ליום
Note: Makro is international.
Beautifully done video, you guys are great... Thanks
Thank you so much!
I have bin meny Tim in hua hin but never on the peir market fanks for that tipa👍 i Will go to hua hin in november 😀
Enjoy. It's such a wonderful place!
Nice video! About Khao Takiab beach, in my opinion you completely missed the best part of it which is south of "monkey mountain", relaxed and beautiful, lot's of resorts and small cheap places to stay, many restaurants, also on the beach. So, I recommend a visit if you have not been there! About flights, maybe I missunderstood you but flying Bangkok - Hua Hin is not doable, only connections are to/from Chiang Mai and I believe one more destination, Issan area i think, don't remember. Have a wonderful stay in Hua Hin and Thailand!
Thank you for the recommendation. We will definitely check out the south side of the mountain! We'll be back soon.
Thank you for sharing. 🙂
Many vloggers posted that the 60 day visa on arrival would be effective on June 1st!!! Apparently not true!!! It was pure BS!! It could be approved someday when the Moon is in Saturn on the second Tuesday of last week when the sun comes up maybe. LOL Click Bait!!
New subscriber. Good information, well explained. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the kind words! Much appreciated!
I am looking at Hua Hin- the first market looks nice- big too.
It is. Right in the center of town. Open everyday. However, on Tuesdays, you must go to Pae Mai Tuesday market!
Has the 60 day tourist visa been listed in the Thai Royal Gazette?
I don't think so. Haven't heard that it has yet.
The news that ciculated around about 60 days visa are not true. Thai embassy or authory didn't said it start from 1st of June. I checked with Thai Embassy here, and friends (who nationality on the list of 60 days free visa) entered Thailand via airport after 1st June, they didn't get 60 days visa, but only 30 days. 😢
Yes. Many sources listed June 1st but it was not true. We're still waiting for the changes. Always need to check visa requirements before traveling.
Good fair price hotel near Soi 63 is Baan Nilrath
Sri Lankan?
Is it visa exempt for the USA? Like Thailand where they just stamp you in and you go? Or do you have to apply for a visa to get in to Vietnam? I’m headed back to se Asia end of July and wanna check some other places out.
You should double check the VISA requirements for Vietnam for US passport holders, but I believe you will need to apply for a VISA to enter.
Italy? Japan? Both okay?
Not sure what you mean...
@@fulltimeabroad HI! I meant for the Italy and Japan country they both have 60 days? Are they in the list?
@@cozyeagle9734 they appear to be on the list. But be aware that the changes havent been introduced yet. Many sources had June 1st as the day, but so far not yet. Always double check the VISA requirements before booking travel.
Hi guys! Marvelous channel. And possible to extend plus 30 days? Total 90 days.
Not sure. More information should be coming out later this month or next. Some reports had it starting June 1st, but this isn't the case and we will need to wait for more information
@@fulltimeabroad thank you so much!
Yeh you can extend for next 30 days
I also think that it's the best area to stay (near Market Village).
20+ visits to Thailand and I had no idea about these buses :D Hua Hin is amazing.
It was so easy to use. I think much easier than taking a flight considering how close it is. But bring a sweater because they were blasting the air conditioner lol
These are very cool changes! For me, that means that I won't need to apply for the visa for the next 2-month stay :)
They still haven't implemented these changes. A lot of reports listed June 1st but we're all still waiting. This is great news for all of us! Applying for visas is always annoying lol
You forget about soi 94. Plenty of nightlife and close to La Casita
That's right. It's a great area!
