Hello, my name is Elina Friday and I´m welcoming you to my KZread channel.
So what is this KZread channel actually about?
Well, I want to talk about good quality clothing. Not just were to find it but also about the fabrics, the technics how they are made and how they are treated. I want to talk about style, about timeless, good quality pieces and were you can find them, about building a closet where you love every single piece. And I want to record my own journey, how I change my life and my wardrobe because I am still right at the beginning of this journey and learning something new every day. I want to share my learning with you.
So that is what my channel is about. And I hope you are going to enjoy this whole thing as much as I do.
Love Elina

I Just had Bunion surgery on July 23. Everyone said it was going to be very painful. I had a large bunion and a hammer toe next to it. They repaired both. I can't take off the bandages yet. I will have the stitches out on August 7th and I can't wait to see a straighter foot. I haven't had any pain to speak of.. I just find that Im very tired after doing a couple of things. I'm 69 years old and work two jobs 5 days a week and very busy. I have to be out of work for about 6 weeks because I'm on my feet all day. 5am to 6pm every day. So I guess I will take advantage of all the sleep I'm getting. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE SURGERY if you really need it. I'm so glad you posted this video. Thank you ! 8:15
Thanks to the CCP for covid. That "chess move" of theirs disrupted almost every aspect of life for the majority of humans. Awesome video regardless.
Update video on this?? like a year or 2 later?
@@QuocTran1007 I do have a update Video on my channel, which I filmed roughly a year later. You can check it out here: 1 YEAR LATER: Bunion Surgery Update 2023 kzread.info/dash/bejne/fGic2NuPp9zJYdI.html I hope you will find the video helpful :)
I got the bunion lapiplasty and it's the worst pain I have ever experienced. I am 1 month post op and I now am having regrets and lots of pain. I will be going to pain management and seeking a 2nd opinion because the pain is still intense - my surgeon said I should not have this much pain...uhhh I know! 😢
Thanks for the video. You did not discuss the foot functionality before and after the surgery. Can you do cardio exercises? Are there still things you have to think about that people with normal feet don't need to think about?
Really good your video
Thank you 😊
@@ElinaFriday I will hope the same that you got
Congratulations!

Thank you so much! All the best to you too 🤗
Those haul videos are toxic, do not watch them. Most of us have enough clothes already.
Nice combo, but iron it ❤
Thank you and you are definitely right about the ironing 😄
Watch this during breakfast, and enjoy the "waffles".
This video was so informative and helpful!! I am due to get bunion surgery on my rt foot. The doctor mentioned that I would not be able to drive for the first two weeks, but after two weeks I could. I start a new job 3 1/2 weeks after the surgery. I mentioned this to my doctor and he said that although I’ll be wearing a boot, It shouldn’t interfere with my job ( I’m a kindergarten teacher)….. does this sound realistic??? After reading the comments I’m a bit nervous about the time frame
Hm it is possible but I feel like there is a high chance that you will not be quite ready to go back to work after 3 1/2 weeks (I‘m just speaking from my own experiences, I‘m no doctor). It does depend on how well and quick you heal up though. Maybe consider how quickly you recover from injuries or if you have had a surgery previously how well you recovered from that. I imagine as a kindergarten teacher you will need to be up on your feet a lot of the time, which might be a bit to hard 3 1/2 half weeks post surgery. I definitely wasn’t able to go back to work that soon. Either way, I hope your surgery goes well and I wish you all the best 🍀
@@ElinaFriday thank you so much for taking the time to respond and for your wisdom and insight! You are a gem!!!!
Ralph lauren not luxury. And prada chanel dior level
Their styles look good but not the quality: easily to be tarnished even 14k gold.
Absolutely love the pieces! They look so classy 🤍
Thank you for your lovely comment. I love them too 🫶
Ur shirt is beautiful!😍😍😍
Thank you 🥰
amazing
Thanks a lot 😊
I have surgery in July both feet 😭😭 maybe I’ll do one at a time, my anniversary is 2 weeks after the surgery and we were planning to go overseas but it seems like I won’t be able to go
I was happy I only did one foot because it allowed me move around a bit more freely but that is only my experience. If your going away and you have to walk a lot I am not sure if your trip is a good idea but of course I am no doctor, so I don’t have any real expertise on that matter. Either way I wish you all the best and the best of luck for your surgery!!!
I’m considering getting mine done.. This was very good info ❤❤
I‘m glad the video was helpful. Thank you for your lovely comment 😊
Had rt foot, done and mtp fusion, pain was about an 8/10, took a long time to heal, but now is great. Had left foot and mtp fusion a year ago…still swells and is sore. Did not heal as well as the first.
I‘m sorry to hear that your second foot isn’t healing as well as the first one and I hope it will soon be alright. Wishing you all the best on your healing journey!!
I'm glad to hear that someone was so lucky. I'm not. I worked twice on the same leg and the cartilage was destroyed from the joint of the thumb and the nerves from two fingers to the first wrong toe and beyond.. they shortened and broke my finger.. my leg is terrible. For 4 years, terrible pains followed on other parts of the leg, heel and joint...that's suffering. I wear sneakers 2 sizes bigger so as not to offend myself. I can't stand for long and I'm only 30 years old
so cute 🫶🏻
Thank you 🥰
I love your elegant and minimalistic style!
Thank you so much for your kind comment 🥰
Am on my 3rd week post op,,am trying to put weight now.But let me be honest, its painful, its costly.Am praying for a non-recurence.
I hope you are doing better by now and that your foot has healed up alright! Wishing you all the best on your recovery journey!!
Hi. Beautiful shoe. Cause they are narrow, it may be hard to wear these with socks. Do you find them breathable in warmer weather?
Have you tried it again? It took me a while to actually keep the layers thin and do it exactly the way they recommend it. It works really well now for me after I was actually in one of their stores in Paris & they gave me great advice 🙌 I didn’t use it for a year & gave it a last try before I wanted to toss it all & I’m happy I did, now I love it 😍
Girl you have a potential of being a great influencer. I hate when people stacked 1000 bags in the wardrobe and make a review on wears and tears in a year. The bag probably sat in the closet for a year. What’s there to review. However, you need to learn some heavy editing skill. You’re talking way too much unnecessary stuff that absolutely nobody cares about. Nobody cares why you have a laptop there. Get to the point fast and you will get a ton of views.
Thank you for your comment. I very much appreciate the praise and the criticism. I am trying to get better at getting to the point in my videos but it definitely is a learning process. Nevertheless I am happy you found the video helpful and am very grateful that you see potential in me.
Here is a video explaining a newer less invasive and overall better surgery called a Lapiplasty: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qouVzbekktvPdZs.htmlsi=cNvC8_XotBhU8qvW For anyone doing research. The other option is a metatarsal osteotomy and that seems to be what she did. They are very different procedures, make sure you do your research!
Thank you so much for your comment! It’s very helpful and will hopefully be a great source of information to the viewers of this video. I really do wish you all the best for the future and hope that if you decide on getting your bunions corrected it will be as painless and „easy“ as possible! Sending you all my love ❤️
Thank god I’m in the US and I can shop around for the best doctor for me. I’m so sorry you were forced to stay with a negligent clinic.
I have a severe bunion in my left foot and a mild one in my right. Mine are genetic, but worsened due to 10 years of ballet. I’m needing to get it corrected this year but I’m terrified of it.. thank you for sharing your story so I can calm my anxiety by educating myself about it. I’m looking into a lapiplasty instead of a older schooled bunionectomy.
I really like their clear one step polishes. They are just a one coat shine type product which is how I like my manicures. I could never do my own gels! I’ll leave this to my salon.
Burberry is a rather funny brand as they have always produced both lower end and higher end garments under the same label. (which is probably why the house has been struggling a lot over the last decade). My biggest issue with them was the buttons falling off.
I understand about the Covid surgery had emergency surgery and is the only type I cry 😢 I needed people
I‘m so sorry to hear that you struggled so much. I really hope you are feeling better now and that your foot has healed up alright. I am wishing you all the best and I‘m sending you love. 🍀
You went to a butcher in America 🇺🇸 the surgery is is not like that the bones are cut same sizes and I have seen scars like that
Great idea! Love this😍
Thank you 🥰
Thank you so much for sharing! I actually had my foot surgery for a bunion four weeks ago and I totally understand how overwhelming this process is and how hard it can be by relying on my kids to do everything for me. It is painful and mentally exhausting but, I am glad I finally did it. 🙏🏽❤️
Thank you so much for your kind comment. I really hope you foot is healing up well and I‘m wishing you all the best! 🥰
What size do you wear?
I am wearing a XS 😊
Definitely a great idea to make three outfits with the same top thanks for sharing.
I am so happy you enjoyed it ☺️
I have a question, will you be able to wear a high heel and if so how high ? I was sad listening to your ordeal and glad it’s behind you now. I had a consult today for bunion left foot. Thank you :)
I can definitely wear shoes with a heel. I am not a high heel type of person but I do currently own a pair of wedges and my feet are totally fine. They have a heel of maybe 5-6 cm I would say. My foot/ big toe does feel really good two years after the surgery so I would definitely say I could wear high heels if I wanted to. I hope this was helpful to you. Thank you for your kind words and I wish you all the best on your journey!
Please can anyone tell me whether bunion can cause leg discrepancy. I just found one video on KZread which talks about this. I don't know if one of my legs is naturally longer or because of bunion... I need an answer
Gardening and baking are two of my favorite things to do. The banana bread looks so good!
Yes, I love them too. It always sparks so much joy in me when I‘m trying a new recipe or when I see my plants grow. Thank you for your lovely comment 🥰
Happy Sunday from the States 😁. Hope the banana bread came out well. Making corn muffins here. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much. The banana bread is all gone by now, so I think my boyfriend enjoyed it 😄 I hope your muffins tourned out great as well!
Your Precious❤️God Bless Your Healing Process And Future Health🙌🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much. All the best to you too!! 😊
There's NO way any bag will not show wear or get dirty after constant use after a couple of views. Good job explaining.
Thank you for your kind comment. I‘m happy the video was helpful 😊
congratulations omg !!! ♥ :D
Thank you 🥰❤️
