  I would say widening the streets more wide cars more tall and cutting some houses so some others, can be more wide more big..... and fixing curlew house why demolish it? Maybe the irish people, can come here if we try to clean the ambience environment pollinate not pollute, and spurse the irish people back lexical truth 😂😂😂😂😂😂

  I found a comment here, explaining about Afghanistan, i think, I like to see that country...... you know John, you are right they keep cutting the green spaces, but we need the green spaces for pollination not pollution for composte for honey this area, has so much crime what is going on here, by the way? It's so sad I am vigilant towards my sadness for ponders end, I guess less oxygen means less breathing the breathing is revoked depleted or abolished, John it is not good for the ambience or the planet, what about swimming I love swimming in ponders end river or trenches as long as you can clean it, maybe I will take my horse on Enfield wash, just like 1989, The World was nicer back then no technology just love, prosperity,prospectous,glorious, glamorous,prompting, no ferocity temptation, domesticness, pestilence obviously we don't spurse anything we are not Allah, or jesus we are humans homogenic obviously i don't sound abstract, or distorted Most of all think about it what is your quadrant? 😁😁😁😁

  Excellent video. I really love short films like this that are just ambient sound and no voiceover. You might be interested in a channel called @BristolRE. He’s a bus driver on the 307s (and others) and lives in this area.

  I remember Brimsdown so well. Lived on The Sunny Road until I left when I got married. Every weekend I'd regularly jump on the train at the station to go into London. I notice on Google Maps, which is two years old, the old sign is still up on Caruso's, the gents barbers, which later added a ladies hairstylists at the front. I see it's now a minimart shop of some kind. The brothers were Italian or Sicilian. I used to be dragged there to get a 'college boy' haircut. As soon as I hit 16 I grew my hair down to my shoulders ! After I'd had sex-education at school, I remember hearing the phrase "Anything for the weekend, sir ?" and noticing it for the first time (now I knew what that phrase meant !), and my dad giving me a curious look because I laughed so hard !

  I was born in The North Middlesex Hospital in 1945 and was born and raised in Ponders End. My family lived in Broadlands Avenue and backed onto the railway about 200 yds North of what is now Southbury Station. I went to Southbury Road Primary School and then Edmonton County Grammar along the Cambridge Road. I haven’t been back for 30 or more years and it is almost recognisable now but your pictures bring back many memories. I could go on and on but I won’t!!! Many thanks for some great pictures.

  @@user-px7vz3wv7k Hi Roy l’ve got nothing but happy memories of the years spent in Ingersoll Rd , Shepards transport , Dick Cordel and you lot over the road all popping in for a chat , the whole road including the people that lived there had a proper community feel about it , how times have changed unfortunately not always for the best . Thankfully l’m still alive unlike some who have gone over to the other side of the fence , anyways nice to hear from Roy and pleased you watch and hopefully enjoy following me on You Tube , all the best mate .

  Hello David so sorry to hear about the loss of your wife , to loose a partner is a bridge we will all have to cross at some point in life but it will never be the same on the other side of the river as it once was . Hopefully my little video will help to bring back happy memories of the years you spent together in Enfield before emigrating to the USA , as Tom Jones put it in his song Delia " The old home town still looks the same " .   I think they are great and a huge improvement on the ones they have replaced unfortunately the state of the roads l’m surprise they have not already fallen apart . By the way as far as l know they will run all day on a full charge , how bad is that , Lol .
