Dit overzicht klopt echt niet Oudste stad van Nederland: = de 1estad Stavoren Utrecht, Deventer, Zutphen en Nijmegen: ze claimen allemaal de oudste stadsrechten te hebben. Maar het is niet altijd duidelijk wanneer en hoe deze steden hun stadsrechten kregen, omdat er soms geen schriftelijke bronnen zijn of omdat de rechten in de loop der tijd veranderden. We houden het daarom op Stavoren. Deze stad heeft ooit de machtigste stad geweest en heeft ook de oudste zeehaven van de Benelux, lees dit in boek Maritiem uit 1983 bij Zeehaven. De 1e stadsrechten werden tussen 1058 en 1068 verleend door graaf Egbert de Eerste met toestemming van keizer Hendrik de Vijfde. In het jaar 2011 vierde Stavoren ‘950 jaar stadsrechten’. Stavoren was een belangrijke handels- en havenstad in de middeleeuwen. En het was ook een belangrijke pelgrimsstad, waar pelgrims naartoe gingen om te bidden voor Sint-Nicolaas. Dat kan nog steeds in de Nicolaaskerk. En wat de Kleine Zeemeermin voor Kopenhagen is, is het standbeeld van het Vrouwtje van Stavoren voor de voormalige Hanzestad. Deze stad is ook de Koningstad en Kroningsstad en de oude Resistentie stad ooit geweest!. Ook was het de regering stad en de oude Hoofdstad voor Amsterdam. Lees boek: Stavoren Hoofdstad van de Friesekusten. Friesland hiervoor De grote lijn van de geschiedenis klopt. De analyse van de situatie van nu ook - in mijn woorden: vanuit Den Haag word er flink wat gestolen. Niet alleen uit wat voor hun gebieden wat verder weg zijn, maar ook van mensen in de randstad zelf. Handlangers en meelopers worden beloond de rest niet- die worden benadeeld. Het verschil is wel dat gebieden die voor hun wat verder weg zijn als geheel bestolen worden, en in wat hun kerngebied is steelt een elite van de mensen. Wat veel mensen met succes niet erg vinden. Over de geschiedenis, het kan zijn dat historici op punten dit gaan verbeteren: het Friese koninkrijk van de 8ste eeuw is toen door de elite van het koninkrijk Franken verslagen en is geen grondslag voor het Nederland van nu. De Friezen zijn geen verslagen volk. In een vooral politiek proces tussen 1498 en 1815 is wat er over is van Fryslân in de Nederlandse éénheidsstaat terecht gekomen. Fryslân is één van de oprichters van Nederland, maar dat in een geheel andere tijd waar de bevolking niets te zeggen had. Democratie is er in Nederland pas sinds er algemeen kiesrecht is, dat kwam er pas lang nadat Fryslân een provincie geworden is. Overigens is er momenteel geen democratie, er is alleen democratie als de regering democratisch is, en de huidige regering is dat niet. Dan zouden rechters de regering moeten aanpakken, maar die doen dat niet. Nederland is momenteel geen democratie. Kiezers grijpen niet in die enkele keer dat ze mogen stemmen en rechters ook niet. Zo bekeken is Nederland momenteel een triest land. Fryslân is zoals gezegd één van de oprichters van de eerste Nederlandse staat, maar die staat bestaat allang niet meer - het gaat om het nu en de toekomst. Minimaal zelfbestuur en Fryslân weer op de kaart zetten hoe eerder hoe beter. Ik vind Fryslân namelijk veel leuker dan Nederland. Niet perfect of zo. Weet niet of ik er zou kunnen wennen. Dat is verder niet belangrijk. Wil wel graag in Fryslân zijn bij familie bezoek en dergelijke - en niet in een buitengewest van de randstad. Zowel "buitengewest" zijn en "van de randstad" ligt Fryslân niet.
