Welcome to Kevin's Auto Channel! We will explore the latest models of automobiles that are currently on American roads and discuss current automotive issues.
My name is Kevin Walters and I have always had a passion for cars and trucks. Everything from old classics to muscle cars to today's modern models they all make me smile. One of my hobbies growing up was getting my Dad to take me to car lots to see all the latest models and collecting the brochures so I could learn all the specs. I am still the same way today, I love the automotive industry. Whether it is a Chevrolet Silverado or a Ford Mustang, I like them all.
If you are into cars and trucks, then you are on the right channel. As my channel grows, I hope to cover more and more topics, models, and go on road trips and adventures to find out everything automotive.
Thank you for stopping by and be sure and hit that subscribe button and ring the bell to turn on the notifications so you won't miss one mile of action.

Believe it or not, here, in 2024, I purchased a new 2021 FX4 with the black widow conversion. It does not have the auto start/stop. I dont know if thats something that they deleted while installing the black widow or not, but there's no button on dash to turn it off on startup.
I'm looking into putting two of these on my 2015 F-250 with the 6.2. I'm going with a cat-back system, so I'll have true duals. The resonator is shot, so it's getting eliminated. I'm pretty sure the catalytics are still okay. I should see a huge increase in fuel mileage, since it's been slowly dropping for the past couple of years.
Way better than a piece of crap ford!!!!!!
did it in my 22 colorado, traction control off, on LOW mode… brakes destroyed had to take it to shop. any idea???
That like nothing. My truck handle 3200 pound
Stop playing with your phone while driving. You don’t have the right to drive several thousand pounds down the road distracted with making a damn video. UNACCEPTABLE
I have a 2020 Sierra with a 10 speed transmission. Will this work?
Thanks for this video. I had my 1968 model for over 30 years. Well done.
I Say Porky Auto channel 😂
from what i have found it is built in the cam , so replacing the cam sensors and upgrade the fuel system for more power and if you go that far a super charger takes it to the top also a ford mechanic said to use the gen 3 block with gen 4 heads and gen 5 intake and fuel system all are interchangeable
Does that work for the 24 rst
Kevin I see there’s a few comments on this topic that think your full of it for speaking the truth , I had a 2019 Chevrolet Z71 emphasis on had . my truck done the very same thing your trucks doing a couple of times I thought the transmission & rear end had blew up it shook the truck violently, from day one it shifted hard I was always concerned it was going to leave me stranded some where so in 2024 I traded it in for a 2024 GMC .. no issues so far with the Denali ….
GM drive shaft shuffle boat anchor supreme
Glad to see trucks can still truck. My 1st gen colorado could haul that as well
People will complain and not pick everything about fords. They set the standards and GM can’t keep up.
No gd
Yes I have Chevy Silverado 1500 2019 lot problems with transmission gear truck king
My 2011 clunks and has been for the last 80k. Lightweight drive shaft, relax! Fuck those new trucks and their pricetags😅
Thanks!
Thank you for the support!
8:19 hey Kevin I wish you could tell me way the put the driving lights on a different button that doesn't come on when you turn the lights on
I'm not sure I'd want to be the one telling folks how to deactivate a system the EPA wants on your vehicle. Just might end up in federal court like many people who deleted their DPF systems did.
Can you get rid of the deactivation?
2019 Silverado trail boss owner. Bought it with 50k miles on it. Threw a torque converter code day 1. Dealership put a remanufactured transmission in it. At no cost. Seemingly running and shifting amazing. Disclaimer. Truck has 35 inch tires and a 4 inch lift. I want to revert back to stock. lol.
Sorry, my 2019 gen 3 has start/stop
What is the difference between the red, green and blue ?
I have a 2017 gmc sierra 5.3 4x4 best all around truck I ever had tows a ton very powerful and drives great truck has a 100 grand on it never let's me down all the manufacturers lost quality not just chevy
Is your truck 4x4
So I'm new to Ford, never owned a vehicle w/ cylinder deactivation and just bought a 2024 F-150 XL. I've only got 130-miles of seat time (dealership to home) so have not yet developed the sensitivity to small changes in performance. What is it that is happening that you know the deactivation and reactivation has occurred (I don't hear any change in sound and don't see an indicator showing the gear your in)? Is there an RPM range where it will occur (looked like you were at 1K for a while and then at 1.1K)? Until this vid I also thought that Sport, Toe, or Sand modes prevented the deactivation. It wouldn't have made a difference but when I specifically asked the Salesman he told me the truck did not have it??? Did something change for the 2024 model year? Thanks FYI-read some of the comments and had recently seen a vid discussion the oil pump belt having Kevlar added and the pump is a billet for the 2024. (don't know if that was fact but the guy did say it was a Ford Engineer that took pictures and provided the info.) Thanks
Trucks are designed not to spin specially four wheeldrive You’re just tearing them up.
I’m against all of those regulations, including the all electric vehicles in 2035 that’s a bunch of crap. There are not enough plug-in Location for trucks and cars and any kind of towing capabilities will probably go away with the use of electric trucks which I believe it’s already been proven so it’s all a bunch of crap. just stumbled on your channel because of the comments the title GEN 4 engine 5.0 good stuff keep up the good work.
my 2019 has stop start. I'm confident the 2018 5.0 does also
🔥👍
I work for one of GMs tier 1 spray on company as a repair man. And I can tell ya we wouldn't pass the truck on the left , the lines on the pillars are croocked and not straight. We tape/mask them with a straight wire and tape them making them for visually appealing. But it's still a good liner from linex . I guess working at the place made me a snob or at least I can tell details lol. I'm glad your happy with either or and hope this little comment doesn't make it stand out too much. Just a small detail that I noticed for working at my job . Especially as a repair man. I would come in and redo the line and patch them. And if the patch is no good then I would respray the truck again. Making it a little thicker ( it's good for customer a thicker liner just last longer and no chance of poking through bad for us cause we would have to remask the truck and materials and man power to do it) hehehe
Nice video! I have a 2021 F-150 5.0 and I'm taking her in Monday to put a Super 44 on it. sucks when you can hear the engine growl but nothing outside of the truck. I am going with the side pipes. I had done it on my 2014 F-150 5.0 and loved it!
Just purchased an 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 a few weeks ago. Ugh, hope it’s not a huge regret
Will it work on a2016 LT 5.3
Sounds like it is getting ready to take a dump!
Guess I really don't see the point of burnouts, especially with the price of vehicles
EPA was approved, signed off on, and pushed through by Nixon. There seems to be a bit of a grey area as to whether the big 3 have to, or just wanted to incorporate cylinder deactivation in builds containing it. Who blames Nixon for being the Linch pin Architect of environmental vehicular Wokedness these days?
Have you seen the 2019 Silverado that has star like lights all over the ceiling, some how I turned them on but I don't know how to turn them off
Thank you very much ❤
I have a 2022 Lariat that I adore. I put very few miles on it. I just hit the 5000 mark. One thing people ask me about is oil consumption. Like you mentioned in the video I haven't seen any so far. People keep saying it's because my truck has so few miles on it. How's the oil consumption on yours now?
Does anyone know if I can use this device that i had on my 2016 Lt 5.3 on 2020 Lt 5.3?
just put 3200 pounds in the back of my 2015 silverado pallet of concrete
I’ve had this device on my 2016 lt for 4 years(.sold the truck) and not a single issue with it,my truck was running 8 cylinders all the time ,the buyer took the truck to the mechanic for his opinion and mechanic guy was impressed how healthy that truck was.. I will get one for my 2020 Lt in few days.
How is this considered a long term review?
sper că șmie mei păstra șmie🎉🎉😊❤ bar
Great video on how range is working! It’s worth the $ 200.00 ! Thanks for sharing! Dave handyman!
Big as a truck, also running a straight 6 with a 3 speed . Very manageable 😊
I think the government stuff to stay out of it they already got a job locked down to nothing I appreciate your honesty
