i had a 2020 model for 20 years. Finaly the roof sides rotted from moisture some how. I did like it when I used it and gave it to a nephew who took the roof off and replaced the rotted wood on the sides of the roof. Everything else was fine. I then bot a 2024 Palomino with electric roof motors that failed in two months. Yes they were covered by the company but I was told I get them in one year.. I traded it for a cirrus which is what I have now.

Thankyou for the walkthrough and including some pricing. Almost all reviewers leave out pricing and it's shady. Only weird issues I have are the privacy/sun shades Not coming from the bottom up, and those wires on the roof connected to the solar panels look like tree limb grabbing trouble in the future. Thanks again.

The Goal Zero is 10 year old technology with only 500 duty cycles to 80% while other brands offer 3500 cycles and much faster charging.
good news is you can easily swap in something different when needed. Though at 500 cycles to full and camping 7 times a year which is the most we've done, it would last us 71 years. I think it will be alright ;) I have a smaller battery than that now and a larger fridge and it has no problem lasting for our trips on a single charge.
i had one that was great until the wood underneath the roof sides rotted and fell apart. I gave it to a nephew who removed the roof, turned it upside down on the ground and replaced the wood. I could not do it so I bought a new camper from cirrus
I have had a Sunray 129 for 4 years and can’t recommend it enough. Well built and the solar is amazing.

I am currently in my MicroMax. I bought it last summer, 2023. Whoever designed this thing with the air conditioner on the floor is a complete moron. In the summer, it is absolutely impossible to sleep on the queen sized bed. So, forget bringing two people out to camp in it, the only place to sleep is on the front one person dinette bench where the AC hits you a little bit, but it’s still just WAY TOO HOT in here. It’s also so low to the ground that literally every driveway and parking lot entrance will scrape the bottom of the trailer. I had to spend money to get mine lifted to avoid this. Seriously, the heat in here in the summer, it’s TERRIBLE.
34 grand? No ac nothing hardwired solar wise. Water tanks that i have to fill on the inside? 34 grand? You can get way better for 18 grand... im good.

I saw a video last fall, 2023, where someone posted that colorado owners manual says to NOT put a truck bed camper in it?, I have a 2022 colorado, with the tow package, I haven't gone through the manual, so I don't know if it's true or not
Well maybe you should look at the manual. It took less than a minute to download the 2022 Colorado owner's manual and do a search on "camper" to find this statement on page 183 "Adding a slide-in camper or similar equipment to the vehicle can damage it, and the repairs would not be covered by the vehicle warranty. Do not install a slide-in camper or similar equipment on the vehicle." For the 2023 manual it is on page 165 and the 2024 manual has the same warning on page 159. So yeah it's in there...but I doubt you will hear any of the people selling the things telling you that.
@russ2714 I only looked at the manual so far for the oil change info, other than that, I'm not a fan of truck bed campers anyway
IT'S JUST TOO BASIC and uncomfortable-looking. I understand the concept behind this design, but come on, it's just a hard-sided tent. They could have added another few inches to the height. Anyone over 5' 9" with shoes on will bump their head. Their design team really dropped the ball on that. Otherwise, it's really a very nice, ah...whatever.
Can the top be cut down a few inches? I was told it’s 80” tall and my garage door allows a 78” opening?
Possibly but not likely something we as a dealer would want to do given it'll void the warranty.

This is almost a carbon copy of the InTech Flyer Explore. That also has a transferable warranty. The interior is a bit different too.
What's the interior height and overall length of useable floor space?
