  i believe it was in 99 or 2000.It was held in Veronique ballroom in Brookline .We had a Friday night event for a year before we opened Supershag

  oh, and on the first CJohnson criticism: that dancers wait for 10 seconds before starting to dance - this tactic does always create a sense of theatricality and power as if the dancers assert their power in the movement , in first deciding when to move rather than have the mere sound of music dictate that for them, this tactic never fails in inviting the interest of both audience and judges and immediately evincing an impression of musicality

  Lol it looks like Chris has more strong feelings on "pet peeves" (so English lol) than Charlotte - can't agree with the bowing to all 4 sides criticism - it's so in your head when one performs that the idea of the audience is always more powerful than the actual physical audience of course. indeed, that idea of audience is always there for the practicing dancer that it seems this "pet peeve" of Chris; is kind of a non sequitur

  Yulia wrote a comment on a DSI photo of them at Blackpool this year, when Riccardo cut his eye. She wrote that Riccardo was "the best thing (to) happen in my life." Very touching and a reflection of how much Riccardo means to her, on and off floor. Sweet couple ...and funny too. =)
