I am looking to move to the Philippines in a year or so and cool weather is the most important thing to me. I am from Buffalo, NY where it snows a lot and I really don't like hot weather! That's why Baguio is appealing to me. Now, realistically, how many times in a year am I going to be out and about to see large crowds during the peak season of tourists? Probably only a few times as I am older but I do like a vibrant, night life vibe. Anyway, I can very easily handle large crowded cities since I lived in Tokyo for 17 years and had quite a few Filipina friends. It's called adapting to your environment. Nothing is perfect; and clearly everyone is different. And America is slowly dying and I need to get out so I am good where other people are generally happy and there is low crime. I also lived in San francisco for 2 years in the early 2000s and to see the extent to which it has fallen is eye opening.

American incomes aren't always higher than western european countries. If you're going to recommend people go remote on a Western income, it's still better to trade in British pounds or Euros as they are valued higher and then just add the US as a market. You said having a beautiful woman and kids is part of the American, I believe that part is dead. Most American women, rather have child support and keep the house and get a new boyfriend so it would be like having 2 men at the same time. A single mother in America, would do anything to have a new man, especially if he doesn't have kids. I'm single, no kids and the difference between how a single mother treats a man she wants Vs a woman with no kids are light years apart. Single moms try to be traditional while childless women are entitled due to feminism. I have no kids because I'm afraid I will end up very miserable just to not pay child support or could end up paying Child support. I was married once and after marriage things went bad, I said no more. You know what the judge said to me after he finalized the divorce? My divorce. The judge said I was now a free man. So basically my marriage was paying for a crime. What was my crime? To love a woman. As of today, I have not met or have made any effort to find love because I no longer believe in love. Anyway, my American dream is basically have my own stuff, do whatever I want and enjoy the freedom and work on myself to keep providing the things I want. I do have one night stands every now and then but I don't get attached. But like I said, it is not priority, the longer I go without sex, the more I feel I don't need it. But I'm noticing a trend here... Because my country actually came out of a Communist revolution too and we have the same symptoms! Is this tied to Communism??? Could it be??? Yeah we also have that "I don't give a F" mentality but not in work! I can't even look at my email and I only have a 15 minute break the wholeeeeeee day. So yeah we work wayyyyyy more than Russians. But allllll seems pointing out to Communist/Left wing ideology. The thing is.... When you look at the system... It has NOTHING to do with Left wing ideology. High classes?! Some are wayyyy wealthier than the rest?! Some are more privileged?! It has nothing to do with left wing ideology. This stuff is soooooo weird. Anyways... Thanks for the video man! The points made here are mostly valid. What i really disagree on is work culture and wages. Those two are connected. True, there are people which waste their life with lazy jobs at low efficiency doing a bad job, and that is exactly why they do not earn much. And this is "pofigism" he talks about. Its people which care little, have no initiative and do not put their head to the task at hand. But it depends on the job, company and people. Other points are true to some degree, however not predominant. Just keep them in mind as a foreigner. Those things happen and exist. There are no pink unicorns here, life is hard for many.
@turbosandtalksАй бұрын
Problem is… pofigisti get low wages coz of their low efficiency, when hard working good employees become pofigisti coz of the low wages. It’s a vicious cycle, and wages are still low compared to the US and Western Europe. Other than that, employees are mostly treated as slaves in Russia, it’s way worse than in the West. You d’rather work remotely for a Western company making $$$ or have an online business in a Western market. If Russia wants to attract Western and Asian talents, some big changes will have to made sooner or later.
@RusUrtelАй бұрын
@@turbosandtalks I disagree. Pofigism mentality has little to do with wages (edit: they earn little, but even if they did earn more, they still would behave the same). Do people in the countryside in Russia have their own houses with land where they grow food? For example in many Balkan countries, many people own their land and raise cows, pigs, goats, chickens, and fruits/vegetables which they can eat all year round. Many of them even have their own water resources. Initially, they only need money to build a good house and invest in their own land. They usually do this little by little, and many of them work in Europe seasonally to send money back home. Some even have their own electricity from solar panels nowadays. I have family living like this over there and they seem to have more freedom even though they only make 400 euros a month. They don't need to buy food or water. Even if there's a war going on they aren't dependent on the state or other businesses to survive. Their culture and family life are way more intact than here in the West (I'm from Sweden). If there were an economic crash here or if we'd have sanctions like Russia have now, everyone would be starving because almost nobody is self-sufficient here. Is Russia similar to the Balkan way of life or do most people live in big cities like we do in the West?
@turbosandtalksАй бұрын
"Do people in the countryside in Russia have their own houses with land where they grow food?" -> Well some do, yes, but some don't. These people are quite resilient indeed, but they live a very simple life. It's a good option if you don't have any ambition whatsoever and don't get bored easily. "Their culture and family life are way more intact than here in the West" -> There are a lot of single moms struggling in Russia. Young single women are plenty, so Russian men have a lot of choice and it's not unusual for them to get rid of their "older" wifes with kids to go bang younger women. Russia is more traditional in some ways, but not always. "Is Russia similar to the Balkan way of life or do most people live in big cities like we do in the West?" -> Most Russians are city people and live in small flats. Thanks for commenting.

Im pinoy , But Thailand is the best and best i love thailand.
I'm from Philippines and my choice is this, I picked Thailand for food, structure, nature same as Phils., also the people except english barrier. Its hard sometimes b'cause We have to find somebody to translate what we wantr but not all the time. The Philippines my beloved country, I loved it but some food are sweet, esp. the spaghetti, Italian style of cooking is my favorite. you add herds and wow!! it's good. Please my co Pinoy and Pinay don't add sugar to our food. except Bulalo, sinigang and Letchon. The rest its sweet. Please can you serve Tea not just coffee. Thank you Turbos and Talks.Have a good day. Thank you for appreciating our country in other way.
I’m a Baguio boy and just for u to know better about our city then u should visit tourist spots around it.. ofc u went to the crowded area where everyone meet..
Sold mine earlier this year after owning it for over 20 years. No mechanical problems ever and it was running 27PSI the whole time. All the rubber bushes were replaced to eurethane, I re glued the roof lining and the alcantara inserts in the front doors. Tune, Haldex upgrade, anti-roll bars , suspension , down pipe are a must (adjustable rear control arms when lowered too)
Thanks for your feedback
@@turbosandtalks a set of anti roll bars are the biggest change. The standard haldex sucks and the turbo inlet pipe has to be silicone (otherwise it collapses on itself). Diverted valves need to be aftermarket. About the down pipe - it splits in 2 and is a massive restriction. I went 3in from the turbo and the K04 wakes up
What mpg u get my boy
@@A43R3W I’m in Australia. I kept the standard K04 and it would maintain about 9L/100km normal driving. Much more with the foot down. Highway was really low (long 6th gear)
Did you go there Feb-Mar? 😂 wrong time to go since thousands of people go up there for Panagbenga.
@@Matteo_rc i was going to say the same thing. Seems like he did 🤣🤣 Baguio during Panagbenga drives me nuts. Too much people.
I am from Norway and shall have vacations in the Philippines besides other places in Baguio. This KZreadr made video about Baguio telling that this city is overcrowded, but didn’t show any video of congestion. So I shall still go there and shall experience this city from my own eyes.
Go see it for yourself. This guy is full of crap. Someone pissed him off so he talks like this. I’m from Europe and I’ve been in Baguio. It’s far better for me than Manila. He says it’s most crowded city he has ever been to. I don’t know where he traveled but surely he didn’t much. It’s south east Asian place, its not not crowded obviously, but it’s incomparable with Manila, Cebu, etc.
nice im also going to gaguio im from denmark was in norway last week
He was probably there in tourist season...but yeah. It's over commercialized now...😢
GR yaris forever!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Good car indeed
Gtr badge no?
Well, as far as the badge is concerned, yes.
Taxi drivers can't even speak very well. I'm scared that something happen in Thailand.
Enjoy your stay in Thailand. yes, I agree our food is always sweet they should not add sugar to the food. The only thing is poor communication in Thailand. not everybody speak English. Yes, the food is good but they don"t know how to say it in English . been there bought a t-shirt. I still love my sinigang and sisig..buddy not spicy.
America, really is pretty great, although I miss the 90s era of America, but I was also a teenager then. I'm grateful to be a born American and couldn't imagine living in any other country. America, just needs less Big Government. As far as Modern Feminist & Wokism, most of that is pushed by Media Propaganda and Social Media; the majority of Americans truly are traditionalist. 🙋♀️🇺🇲❤️

Good food is definitely harder to find in the provinces. You can get so much more options and better service in metropolitan areas, like Cebu, Manila and Davao.
Somebody didn't do their homework before visiting...
youve been there for 3 days and ur saying that...ur stupid..
Come to my French Alps to compare with Baguio and we will see who is stupid.
@@turbosandtalks if your logic in visiting is to compare a small, highly urbanized tourist city to your Alps, then, can't agree less it is polluted and so is your stupidity.
We still have a lot of resources and land. Just hope we don't tear ourselves down.
Where are you a citizen?

Its the jeepney that causes the air pollution… I grew UP in Baguio ang love Baguio… but the air is awful Now.
Used to be a great place I think
American incomes aren't always higher than western european countries. If you're going to recommend people go remote on a Western income, it's still better to trade in British pounds or Euros as they are valued higher and then just add the US as a market. For the majority of westerners, moving to the US is a worse decision than staying in Europe or moving to Asia on location independent income.
Moving to the US as Western European doesn’t make sense indeed, unless you are one of these who makes 150-200-300K a year based in the US.
Anyway.....that's all I wanted to say
I hear you man. French women are to avoid as well. You could look for better quality women abroad. Thanks for commenting and sharing your experience.
@@turbosandtalks I'm more worried about Nuclear war, Putin continues to advance in Ukraine and I believe that's what's keeping him from going Nuclear against United States and the west. Maybe if Putin married a woman from Ukraine, like nikita khrushchev did in 1922, he may not be invading Ukraine. He would have peaceful relationships in Crimea. Maybe Putin got rejected by a woman from Ukraine....or something
I don’t think Putin is that strong. He has created a hell around himself, now if he steps back he is a dead man, his only option is to continue the war. The power of Russia is overrated, in fact I even overestimated Russia for years. China needs the West, we are it’s bigger customers by far. Others BRICS are big jokes.

They should experience the %80 inflation, and see clowns in politics in Turkey🇹🇷 before complaining about their country.
Very good point.
That's only possible with a remote job
Yes, but at least there is a possibility.
For me the American Dream is still there, but not how people imagine it. IMO, the current American Dream is: living in a western, civilized and rich country with a huge market with unlike other western countries low regulations and socialism. Oh and I also forgot the right to carry guns to defend yourself.
American cops are bad people following worse policies. I’m so tired of being persecuted by jacked guys that couldn’t finish highschool.
Total bullshit comment on "streets in Russia not so safe with the war" ..... its safer than EVER here .... everywhere Blad !!!!!! And I am living between Crimea and Luhansk !!!
Stop your propaganda. Krokus and recently Daguestan events, not something you can call « safe streets ».
I believe that as long as you support Putin, you're safe 💯 if you don't support Putin, you get arrested, am I wrong? Just wear a Tshirt with Putin's face on it, and you're safe, protected by Police.
As long as you support Putin you are safe and even get away with theft or criminal charges. It all comes down to Putin and he’s « you are with me or an enemy » nothing else really matters anymore.
In the West the biggest car scam of all is the "safety" test ..... invented just to fleece EU and US drivers ..... here in Russia no problem to drive and use a cell phone in a 30 year old Lada with leaky exhaust and bald tyres .... BTW the safety figures for Russia and the West are almost identical so FACT CHECKED SKAM ON SAFETY CHECKS !!!!!
No, another lie, road traffic accidents statistics are way worse in Russia than in any Western country. Only countries such as India or Thailand do worse.
i miss traveling to Russia and Russia woman who a still want to be woman :D
Well, it’s still possible to travel to Russia, if your are a real foreigner, don’t talk about the war and politics and stay in Moscow you should be fine.

Well, come to my French Alps to compare the quality of air to Baguio.
Funny thing... I heard a guy that lived in Russia for 30 years... Left our country when USSR was in "full steam". And you actually were able to describe BETTER than him the conditions. He was veryyyyy superficial and talked for hourssssss. Your video was 23 minutes man!!! Very good. The guy is still here in my country doing talks, supporting Ukrainians and being anti-Putin. And I confess... I was actually falling to the Russia side... Because you know man, the West is full of BS too! I'm West European... I live in the poorest country of it. It's not pleasant at ALL!!! When you say "you better off being poor in the West".... Idk how much low we can get! I'm seeing people without a house or a car!!! People are on the edge! We're also living paycheck to paycheck!!! $2000 is more than our salary here! Maybe it's fine for North Europeans with their high salaries... But in the South??! TOTAL different story. Although I noticed that the people that don't give a F are the elites! You know... Politicians, ministers, presidents... Like you said... And it's the same here - if you don't enter/work in the Government, you're f*ed! You won't be going ANYWHERE. Yeah... Similar thing. Idk what it is.... Hope to hear more from you! Alwayssss learning
Thanks for commenting. Which country are you from ? Romania ? Yeah the West is full of BS as well, there are just bad and less bad countries.
@@turbosandtalks You welcome. I thank YOU for making the video actually! Very important info!!! I'm not from Romania lolol West Europe friend! Not Romania noooo. From Portugal! Buttttt yeah... Some people say we have a LOT of similarities with Slavs sooooo I understand why you made that question lolol I'm sure it wasn't because of the tan 😆
I have been to Portgual, loved it, I could live there, great country, friendly people, good weather and food, but low wages indeed. In France we don’t call Portugal « Western Europe » but rather Southern Europe, even though Portugal and Spain are technically in Western Europe. Portugal is more comparable to Romania or Bulgaria than France or Germany, when it comes to the economy (no offense). But culture wise Portugal and Spain are closer to France and Italy.
wow... it's overrated, and it's not even rated that high
Ha ha
Overly expensive ; I used to have a little Peugeot in France (206+ hdi 1.4 diesel) ; it didn't cost me more than 1000 EUR per year in maintenance, insurance and fuel.
Not in the same league...
I Mean he's right, even if yours is an Audi S3 in gasoline that's style an old model. To be honest the consumption look incredible to pay 4800€ for 25,000km. What is the consumption on your 8L ? 12l/100km ? @@turbosandtalks
@@Trolype10L / 100 km. Which isn’t too bad for a remapped 250 hp gasoline engine. Fuel is just bloody expensive.
This is about the same i spend on average on my remapped seat leon FR 1p 2.0 tfsi. Only difference is i only drive about 8000km max per year which makes it doable. I live in the Netherlands so fuel costs the same. Funny thing is i owned a 1.8t Skoda Octavia before this which i swapped myself to a APX engine (older version of the BAM, also k04 turbo etc) from a wrecked audi tt. It even had a 5 speed gearbox (the FR has a 6 speed) . It had a much better gas mileage than the tfsi engine although its an older engine (both running around 260 bhp) and the octavia had the drag coefficient of a brick 😂.... Maybe its full of carbon due to the direct injection. Honestly i think the 1.8t is superior to the 2.0 tfsi, keep good care of it because these will most likely go up in value (the S3)
Your fuel economy is amazing. What are you paying in tax? You have some kind of annual tax payment?
The points made here are mostly valid. What i really disagree on is work culture and wages. Those two are connected. True, there are people which waste their life with lazy jobs at low efficiency doing a bad job, and that is exactly why they do not earn much. And this is "pofigism" he talks about. Its people which care little, have no initiative and do not put their head to the task at hand. But it depends on the job, company and people. Other points are true to some degree, however not predominant. Just keep them in mind as a foreigner. Those things happen and exist. There are no pink unicorns here, life is hard for many.
@@turbosandtalks I disagree. Pofigism mentality has little to do with wages (edit: they earn little, but even if they did earn more, they still would behave the same). I believe it is something like lack of self-purpose, which manifests as laziness and disrespect for people around them and disrespect for themselves. Kinda like heavy drinking, which is hard to cure, but can be prevented with proper direction.
@@RusUrtel You are right, Pofigizm is part of the Russian mentality as well.
Wow what a beautiful country side
