    Enjoyed this video, cheers. On fellwaters, given that maybe even more than last edition Gitz are about combos and stacks of buffs/debuffs they’re a helpful addition to the list’s alchemy. So A is about right.

    Also I’d put snufflaz in A for the same reason. Gitz are a mad scientist faction and it feels like snufflaz are a vital part of the chemistry.

    I like your list, my only changes would be to put Brutes at B tier I just think that 200 points for 5 Brutes is just too much, and I still think it's better to play 10 of them, but 400 points is just a lot.

    StV would not affect the companion weapons since it is a friendly ability. Unfortunately. One of the things that helps hammer the nail in of being bad.

    you can have a 400 point beat stick, but ya know maybe it be nice if that beat stick had a ward save or -2 rend or something that buffs companion weapons in the army or just anything.

    I think the Mangler boss still has some play. His once per game buff is great for other squigs, and fight another day on a turn he charges allows him to bounce out and choose his pile in and attack more carefully. That heroic trait and the KB one of similar function are supremely tactical

    I think just a small tweak to their abilities, main ones i can think of is sluge raker and the sharman, with the 2+ and 3+ to get their buffs off (when those buffs are baked into the cost of the units and theres chances you don't get them). I think it should just be you loose a model and get the buff not fail the roll then you loose a model and also don't get the buff. but otherwise krulebois are solid and I'll be playing them

    Also, fellwater ability for noxious vomit got way more reliable now that it’s d3 attacks instead of damage. Like twice as good

    First! And I’m pleasantly surprised at the placing of the mangler squigs! I have yet to try em out but I’m glad that you think that they can work with proper investment…I initially thought manglers would be F tier 😅

    I think wierdnob and warchanter can move down a tier. You'll always have some of them, but I could see dropping the wierdnob to go double warchanter, or warchanter + zodgrod. I think brutes should be B tier. I don't think megaboss on foot is that good, but ragerz get to fight first on counter charge as well, so you could throw the megaboss up to protect him with a counter charge from the ragers? Kragnos has a lot of potential here, ragerz can redeploy + counter charge, and kragnos gives them 3d6 counter charges which lets you protect a bunch of your frontline with strikes first ragerz

    I think the Megaboss on foot is really good in a Kragnos list where you throw 20 brutes and just say “go destroy “

    Megaboss is in general extremly good.. Adding +2 Attacks on all Brutes, also the Wreckas oder Ragerz is pure gold.

    Would Murk Nob have any value if he was available as a bonus hero (like the killaboss on foot)? Also, What's the "right" cost for Monsta Killaz: 140? 150? I think even at 150 I'm still putting 1-2 units in.

    The tier list is pretty spot on. I undersand the struggle regarding the placement of Brutes. Regarding the glooming, this is an utterly imbalance indexhammer season. Anyone who experienced it before knew what was gonna come. I am having fun playing the army. I will keep playing and painting it. However, I know that I'll be an underdog in a lot of matchups given the relativeley low movement, the lack of mortal damage output, and the low threath density.

    @@xavierwt hmm that’s interesting. I have few armies and also comparing Ironjawz to previous edition they are really boring to play. Comparing them to Krulboyz I love how many options and fun stuff they have. I guess I will pause with them for now, and stick to other armies.

    I think S tier should be like other armies are jealous of this dude and would play it if they had access to it, to give some level of general comparison to the army. It feels kind of like warchanter is the only dude that would be there out of all our units.

    As a competitive ironjawz player I've had to leave the army for now until they get some help. All the -1 to hits, strike last strike first,manifestations that can just lock you in combat, hitting on 4s and abilities all nerfed and smash and bash gone. Sad times

    My poor spiders suck so bad, they lost access to all the moonclan buffs, lost all their own buffs, and ate a hefty point increase for the trouble. Webspinner on arachnarok can get to a +2 to cast with loon touched, but getting demoted to wizard 1 is awful. Spider riders are fine, mobile screen that can help with BTs, which the random movement on bounderz can screw up. Feels like they just don't want you to play spiders.

    Trugg still seems fine, but he had a big glow down. Imo his best use was to stack buffs onto, and most of those buffs are moonclan only now.

    Herds are premium screens imo, good damage and bounce back mortals, sure they can't take a hit but you don't usually expect screens to survive

    Throwing the snuffler buff on a big block of stabbas is nice, but putting it on a unit of hoppers to help them survive a round and pin something, or hold an objective seems viable. Once per turn army on the buff sucks, as does it being locked to moonclan so fellwaters/dankholds/trugg/spiders can't get it.

    I just wish some of the buffs in this army didnt have the infantry lock so my meme 5 drop trophy finga list would at least be fun while i was losing. Like the killaboss on foots buff would apply to companion weapons (I think???) which is the place you really want +1 to wound in combat, but no. Or the mashcrawla who seems like a perfect fit for the list cant buff his fellow mounted units with run and charge. :(

    the Gnashtoof has one thing going for him that I don't think you're considering. His movement at 10" at his points cost makes him perfection for Battle Tactics. I'd suggest B tier for him rather than F. If someone doesn't care about the number of drops then the entire F tier changes. Murknob also has given a lot of play with the small objective size to weaken the opponent and boost defense. Two Killbows as a NEED seems unreasonable. A single one gets the ability and it will boost the overall shooting potential by a lot. Saying they are situational seems a stretch when they do plenty well against an elite infantry thanks to the profile having 2 rend.

    Hard disagree on the murknob. You put him behind the line of a brick of 20 guttrippers with the sludgeraker, and that 6+ ward will do some work with 40 wounds.

    @MossDogAoS I honestly don't think drops are that massive for kruleboyz. Kruleboyz want to go first for vemon encrusted weapon and most army don't so they don't have to deal with first turn battle tactics so either they are going to give you the first turn at which point you roll you big block in the middle and say come at me or they give you second which they didn't want to do and took low drops to have. Either way, it is a win-win.

    Gobsprakk should go down a tier on points alone. Swampcalla with swamp staff is better for like 250 points less, and if you want a fast unit vulchaboss is far more effective. 380 is what he was worth last season with primal dice, he's got to go down at least 100 points before I consider him over our other options. Our top 3 heroes are Swampcalla, Sludgeraker, Vulchaboss imo. C tier would've been nice for skumdrekk, hobgrots and gobsprakk actually. Skumdrekk is only good for hobgrots, but I think you only actually play hobgrots if you can't find 20 points for more monsta killaz. the sludgeraker poison ability isn't once per battle army too, so you can buff two units at a time, so I'd rather a second snatchaboss over skumdrekk anyway. Killbow is an easy A tier for me, but only 1 can get the damage 6, so you only play 1. They hit on 4s yes, but they get +1 to hit if they don't move and a single killbow isn't terrible against non-monsters, just inconsistent with the damage 6. Rend 2 is very valuable this edition. I played it in a 1-dayer and it did significant work vs khorne and stormcast, and did decent chip damage against nurgle.

    Can you imagine if the hobgrots had their ability as a fight ability? Your opponents charge them, they disengage 3'' before fighting, comes your turn you throw the grenades, then come your opponents turn and he gotta charge your screen again?

    Honestly I think that even bolt boys are not worth playing. Now that they can not mortal anny more there is so little use for them. Anny thing tough or annythin horde is just going to be better kileld by the combat infantry. And the boltboys range is just to short to threathen annything beyond the front lines. I would honestly take the troll over them cause it helps get the infantry into combat faster.

    Not even close to true, bolt boys with sneaky tricks into rapjd fire range as priority target is very efficient ranged damage almoat anywhere on the board. Loads of tactics can be denied finishing units off, or just taking an objective and still contributing. Counter shoot also gives us more damage offturn.

    Wish the killabow wasnt once per army for the ability, as it really really limits the desire to want to take multiple. I feel our warscrolls will definitely get a change up during the update.

    @@rotm4447 I tried him. He failed epically. I had a unit of 20 hobgrots with him buffed up and they did take out a unit of Bullgors. But you're talking about 460 to trade into 360 points. And that was only because I got lucky enough to have Skumdrekk survive with like 2-3 health after getting hit by them first. If he dies the hobgrots are useless. They have to stay in his aura. His warscroll is Terrible in my opinion.

    If the Hobgrotz take any damage from range or spells or impact mortals, etc, they just melt. That's a serious problem. So if he's your second one, yes. Otherwise... probably not.

    For the winrates, remember that the current score is based on a handfull of events, opposing players who are enthusiasts for the new edition and want to try their new rules, and people who already played 40 games a week after the release because they've been playing on leaks.

    I ended up having the exact same list after swapping Gobsprakk + Killbow for Vulcha + Shaman + Monsta-killaz. Gobsprakk's unbinds are unfortunately not nearly as strong as in the last edition without magical dice, and Killbow is still very unpredictable. Here's my two cents/some things I found people overlook: - Snatcha gives +1 to all attacks, not only Mortal Wounds - having the former in mind, All Out Attack gives +3.5 dmg to Breaka and +7 dmg to (fully buffed) Gutrippaz against 4+ save - put your Boltboyz into the obscurring terrain to make them invisible to shooting without having to be 12" away - if you take Ded Sneaky you can try Sneaky Sneakin' the same unit twice (in case it fails the first time) - to complete "Time To Get Stuck In!" battle tactic you only need to have charged and piled-in afterwards (if you are not in combat) - the advanced ability rules say that even if you resolve a part of the effect "the ability is still considered to have been used" - you can Power Through your Snatcha against a unit you haven't damaged yet for D3 + (potentially) D3 and -1 to wounds (rampage) at the end of the turn - remember to make sure you have space to actually summon Krondspine :)

    The points on kruleboyz definitely missed the mark and the warscrolls still feel too weak despite our better army rules. Every other crit mortal damage unit out there still has a rend and is cheaper than 170 points.... or can be reinforced -_-

    What I dislike most, is the bad internal balance and the really unnecessary restrictions and rolls for basic avilities. Effects that other factions get for all their units, we have to roll for, to get it on 2 units in the roster. If we roll a 1, D3 MWs, yay. Imagining possibilities is fun, working around massive restrictions is a chore. Rolling a 1 on venom and then basically not having a turn because your gutrippaz suck now is never fun. It's honestly trash tier game design
