Hey there I changed oil in the transmission of my TM 165 New Holland and found a partial snap ring in the filter would you be able to tell me where in the transmission it would have a snap ring about 60mm? The tractor was driving normally nothing indicated any problem other than the snap ring in the filter

did u have to buy a new flywheel to ? or just the clutch ? and another question, i have a new holland with same clutch system, and there is a rattling sound when the tractor is in neutral gear and engine is idling. i think there is a broken spring of the clutch. I would like to know, what will happen if i run the tractor with this error(a broken damper spring on clutch) for a little longer, will it do damage to the shaft, or the transmission, or the flywheel ?

Where do you plug that into? And where do you get that error code reader? I have a boomer 8n which was made by New Holland in 2009. The LCD screen is burnt out and it is throwing some error but I cannot read the full number. I replaced the shuttle shifter and now when I hit the gas it will not go. Then when I move it back to neutral I see that it throws an error. I did verify with a volt meter that the correct voltage is going in and coming out of the shuttle shifter.
Did you remove fuel tank and loader brackets? and lift cab?
my tractor shows the snail no information on this in the workshop manual itshifts fine A,B, and C1 but will not go to the higher gears
