I’m here on vacation what lures were you using I can’t seem to find the right one whopper ploppers and top waters weren’t working as well as these worms and I’m not catching a thing.

I fished Douglas Lake Wed morning and I only caught 2 one was a catfish on a Square bill and another bass about 2 pounds on the same Square bill. First time I have fished Douglas. I always fish Watts Bar or Chickamauga but seems like you kill them on Douglas. Days like this seem to happen to me often when I fish with crankbaits, fish just love to throw them.

The Ole floatin worm! Not a lot of people fish it anymore. I throw mine with braid to floro. Plus I add a barrel swivel about 12 to 18 inches above the worm. It let's me get a little more distance on the cast, it allows it to sink a tad but quicker, and it helps with line twist. Line twist ain't much of an issue with braid but I just like the barrel swivel. Good job!!!

@@jeremyraley30 have a small club derby on the lake tomorrow found a ton of fish out deep tried spoon, long lining and swim baits even slowed down with Carolina rig and drop shot but couldn’t get them to fire up. Hoping to try to find a few thanks

Enjoy your videos. I had never been on Douglas until back in the first week of April and then again for the Bill Dance giant bass open. It has become my favorite lake that I fish.
