Most of these dishes were served in the 1950s, and deviled eggs were around from 1800s and were not a lunch meal but served as appetizers or houre d'ourves

i grew up in ohio in the 70s... and the only 1 of those i ever had ( hated) was pickle & and pimento loaf on bread for a bagged lunch, along with 2 cookies and an apple.... Yuck ! ----> i would have loved to have those other items, but both of my parents found booze a better choice for the money !

The issue with braking during unattended acceleration is that the vacuum is lost after 2, maybe 3 presses of the brake pedal, then braking is hugely reduced. The exception is diesel vehicles as they use a seperate vacuum pump for the brakes

There was not a gas crisis in the 60s. The cost to correct the problem with the pinto was not $1.11. it was $11. You don't identify the problem with the gas tank. You imply it had something to do with placement behind the rear axle while stating this was a common design feature of the era. Common? I can't think of a 1970 car that didn't have the gas tank behind the axle. Be safe Ford wasn't found criminally liable. Not true. Ford lost a criminal case in Indiana. The most damaging case for Ford was a judgment against it in a civil case I believe or something over 100 million dollars

My first car loan was a standard shift brown pinto. I got it for $1400 about 1975 and drove it for about three years until I finished college. I liked it and just always stayed ahead of the cars behind me. I would still buy one just for the fun of it.

If i had a pinto i would make it my life's mission to swap the shittiest engine ever made into it and drive it like a shithead. That way it would be a true shit box. Oh, and I can't forget the historic tag and insurance.😂

Ford Edsel is a misnomer. Edsel was its own division of the Ford Motor Company. You don't call a Mercury, a Ford Mercury? Edsel had its own models. Ranger and Villager 1958-60. Corsair 1858-59. Pacer, Roundup, Bermuda and Citation 1958 only.

They’re not ugly, they’re ghastly! How could these vehicles have been conceived when a quick glance at what was available overseas, especially from Europe, could have provided some better food for thought? But let’s not forget the plethora of American barges to follow!

A hand-crank eggbeater is an extremely useful device. Easy to use and to clean. You get a little bit of arm exercise and it uses no electricity. I wouldn't be without one.
