Hi! I loved your review of the Tripped Travel Gear sets. I purchased the same compressor bag set as you did and the toiletry set as well. Question: On the toiletry set can you tell me what the two straps on the back are for? I’m not sure how I should use it. I look forward to your response. Thank you!
I use compression cubes and regular packing cubes. You have to be careful in checked baggage to not be over the weight limit because while you can pack more in the compression cubes they make your baggage weigh more. Just a consideration.
I wanted to hear but there was too much noise because of the music !
I used the Tripp backpack on a 2 week trip to Canada and Alaska. Absolute loved it. Best purchase I made!!!!
We will be visiting Santa Fe in the fall. We've never been, but we are so excited to visit the museums and just have a good time. Watching the different travel guide videos for Santa Fe is getting me so excited to visit!
Great Video
Thanks for the quick useful information, getting ready to leave for Rome and France. Will be utilizing the TV for the first time. Blessings
TGV.
Great ideas TU
Love your video and willl look for more from you. Very helpful. Please keep in mind that most senior citizens cant carry backpacks due to knee or back problems. thank you so much for your tips. Most I knew but it’s nice to get a refresher course! :)
Flying in from NY next week. Any decent Tex-Mex restaurants in that town?
Lot's of great places to eat!
You missed the whole point of Inverness which is it’s night life. There is more live music in the small town of Inverness than either Edinburgh or Glasgow!
I wish there had been nightlife happening when we were there! But alas...2020.
Somehow I feel as though he is not too fond of tourists
Interesting! He has a lovely travel KZread channel!
Love you guys 🥰 Hope you're doing ok and your lovely baby. We did a similar trip just before covid. All the best. 🥰 Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Castlerigg is my favourite stone circle! It commands amazing views across the lakes (when the weather is clear) but has its own unique atmosphere in inclement weather. I'm not religious in any way, but touching the stones gives me a very spiritual feeling of connection to my ancestors.
As always guys, great video. You captured the essence of Hampshire. We loved it too. All the best guys.❤❤ Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Was your hubby not hot with jeans on 🥵
A very well done video guys. We have been. It has a special charm that keeps you going back. Sending you lots of love❤❤ from Harriet, Jim and Yuki
You missed Bay Beach Amusement Park and Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary.
History here is multifaceted and complicated. We have had wars going back to 1680. As a longtime tour guide in the area, I can tell you about the Pueblo Revolt, the Reconquest, the invasion and takeover of the American army and more. Yes, we can be spiritual, but we’ve had our share of violence.
One thing, Santa Fe is definitely not a spring break destination, so I didn’t quite get that mention. Also, you said it wasn’t noisy like other” big “cities. That’s because it’s nowhere near a big city. It’s not going to have the personality of a big city in anyway. The quietness of it is probably what attracts a lot of people there. It doesn’t attract partiers or late night people I just thought you might need a better understanding of the town, the history, the reason why it’s so popular, before doing a video on it. But I will say toward the end you did talk about the art culture importance of that and I like that part. I do not live there, but I lived in Colorado and went there many times, and I will be going again next winter.
Santa Fe is the oldest capitol city in the US. It has a population of nearly 90K, plus a lot more snow birds in the winter, which makes it one of the largest cities in New Mexico. But it does a good job at having a smaller town vibe because of its quietness and older population
@@MeansToTravel I don’t think you understood what my point was at all. . I wasn’t talking about how old Santa Fe was or about snowbirds. . You compared it to a big city. It is really a very small city. Albuquerque, the largest town in New Mexico is close to 10 times bigger than Santa Fe.
I recommend you to visit nepal to show some stunning nature of river jungle and mountain all in one spot cheap and worth it
I’ll hope to get there for sure! I’d love to travel there!
Reach to the Info, in the future it might be better to record inside. The wind is picking up so much of your information.
Sorry about that!
Why would you teach someone that. It is wasteful and selfish. Why use trickery?
So there are actually many circumstances where it is needed in this day and age that wouldn’t be considered wasteful or selfish. For example, if you need to charge a medical device. I just had a baby and I need to charge my travel breast pumps (which are medical devices) at least once per day, and I need to keep myself on a certain pumping schedule. So, often after a long day out, I’ll need to charge them while eating dinner or something so I can use them before the final pumping session of the day. Another example is if your work laptop needs to always be kept at a certain temperature in order for it to be reliable and not at risk of overheating (which is the case for many electronics). Not advocating for reckless use - just in necessary cases. Hope this makes sense!
36 hours drying time???
Unfortunately, yes! It was very humid.
I.U?!!! Wow!!! Love it! I'm IU '84 and '89.
Haha yes! Derek and I met at freshman orientation at IU, and we started officially dating during welcome week. Now we’ve been together for half of our lives! 😀
@@MeansToTravel That's so cool!
I love living in santa fe
It’s such a lovely place! You’re very lucky!
We do not say pralines like that
Oh interesting! How do you say it phonetically??
Good info. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful! Hope you have a fun trip! 😀
Still a great helpful video
Thanks Mark, glad you think so! 😉😃
Heading there next year. Thanks for the information it will be helpful!!! I hope my daughter loves this city as it is one of her must see places. This will help me make it a memorable place for her!! Thanks!!!!
So glad to hear! It was my top place that I wanted to visit while I was growing up, and I had such a magical experience when I finally got to go (when I was 19)! I'm wishing those exact same wonderful feelings for your daughter when you visit together. ✨😀
Thank you! She will be 21 when we go. So very close in age.
Car rental is important. High altitude! Hydrate, limit alcohol. Altitude sickness is real, and can put you in hospital. Get rest. Take a siesta. Consider the Santa Fe Opera or nearby ruins or pueblos, historic sites. Beware the sun! At this altitude, you can quickly fry like bacon. Outside activities are better in morning or evening. Sunscreen is essential, but it is not armor. Buy a hat and wear it. Go to the old Woolworths on the plaza and get a frito pie.
So true about the altitude sickness - I had a quick bought of it myself on my first visit and it'll get you! And thanks for adding your great sightseeing, food, and sun tips! 😀
My sister and I are coming to London in October we are so excited 😆
That’ll be a fun trip! Thanks for watching my video! 😀
Appreciated for the very informative video. Can you advise the train direction (FW <-> Malliag) where it runs towards you (not away) from this viewpoint?
To see it coming towards you from this viewpoint, it’s going from FW to Malliag. 😀
Allsups Chimichangas = Prime Santa Fe Experience
Awesome, thanks for adding this tip!
Lol, I thought you said "stink laundry" the first couple of times!
Haha, even if it was stink laundry, I suppose these tips would still apply!
I did the same drink route and both are delicious and I’m visiting for the first time. Thanks for a really helpful video.
So fun! Definitely great to try them both when you’re in New Orleans! 😁 Glad you liked the video!

This is a great video. I’ve lived in Wisconsin 30 years and haven’t heard of a few of these places. Thank you for showing this!
Glad you enjoyed it! Where are you from in Wisconsin, and is there anywhere else in the state that you recommend to visit?
@@MeansToTravel I live in south central wisconsin. So I plan on seeing some of the places you showed. I like the driftless area of Wisconsin I think the best. There is a lot to see just driving around. I have a video being released this Saturday where I visited Hyde’s mill, an 1850s welsh church, mineral point was interesting and ended at Belmont. The first state capitol.
how do you wash out the Kitsch liquid bags?
You can use soap and water with a brush that works to clean out reusable straws
Thank you! So many helpful tips here!!!
My pleasure! Happy to help, and I hope you enjoy your trip! 😀
what about may
You’ll pretty much need all of the things we mentioned still, even in May! 🏴
Not its best side, to see it at its best, you need to go in june to September, though the air would have fresh anuff, you'd want t drink it.
I'd love to go back! September sounds like the perfect time, because the weather is still nice but we'd be avoiding the summer crowds. 😀
Bro that tech bag for electronics is great - why didn't I find this brilliant idea earlier? I might have to get one of those instead of my previous method for carrying those items - a kid's lunchbox! Mind you, I find those good too because the lid can't fall off in flight.
Haha! The tech bag works great, but it sounds like you created a system that works for you!
If the attendant couldn’t tell you which meal had the least amount of dairy that’s disheartening to hear for someone who is intolerant to dairy as well as other things such as eggs etc
I totally relate to you. It kinda sucks. That said, my best friend is a flight attendant and she's told me that the menu items are often totally different on different flights, so they aren't trained like waiters in a restaurant to know all of the ingredients in the food. It would kinda be like asking a train attendant if the Snickers or Milky Way bars on their carts have more milk chocolate in them...they probably would have no idea. So in this manner of responding, the onus gets put on the eater.
@@MeansToTravel I understand, and there’s no issue if the food comes with an Ingredients list as reading ingredients is second nature to me. But I know that not all food, especially catered food, comes with that information
Lame tips. These are common sense tips
Sorry to hear they weren't helpful for your needs
Wrong time of year. Short daylight hours but the midges have gone by November. Around Christmas it barely gets light. Opposite in midsummer. Best time to visit is May. Juky and August can be grim due to congested roads.
Each time of year has its pro's and con's, for sure!
Like if a tornado comes and destroys your house and ruins your life - “Yeah!”
Gosh I hope that never happens to someone 😬
Is your foundation and mascara and concealer all non-liquids? I was just curious you mentioned they were in your make up bag so I wasn’t sure.
Always safest to put those in liquids bags if yours are liquids, and make sure they're smaller than 100mL in size. I have an old video on my channel specifically about how I pack a liquids bag.
Useful tips
Thanks so much, and I'm glad to hear it! Hope you enjoy your trip to Santorini!
