Have one six yrs old now. Displayed a fault last year. pump outlet got blocked and water found it's way to the bottom plate. There is a wet sensor on the bottom plate bc there are electronics attached to the bottom cover. After deblocking and drying the bottom plate worked fine.

Think I’ve had my Bosch dishwasher 14 maybe 15 years and the only thing that’s gone wrong is water has collected underneath a few times raising the Styrofoam stopper and the circuit board popped a resistor about a year ago. I keep fixing it when it has issues but it’s still going strong.

The mechanics of getting under the back feet is as follows, he slides one slider under the front foot and pushes it back but the slider is not parallel to the side of the machine it is facing at an angle slightly inwards so as he pushes the slider back, the far end of it misses the rear foot and passes slightly to the inside of the rear foot, when he tips the machine forwards so that the rear foot is off of the floor, he applies sideways movement to the slider so that it pivots around its contact point under the front foot and the rear of the slider moves to its position under the rear foot. Voila !

That's NOT the cause, that's the symptom. Clear the clog at the condensate tube. It's located next to the condenser.

Never understand small households that have one. I've worked with them, in hotels & restaurants, I can understand that. But in homes? Lazy. Unless you're old or disabled. And if you do use one, scrape the plates. Double lazy.

I used JBWeld to fix the hinge pivot on my fridge door- still going strong over ten years later, no need to buy a new fridge for the sake of a worn out hole / socket.

Epoxy putty is a good fix for this, I wouldn't personally use Milliput as it's a bit soft when cured and may fail over time, JB Weld is a better bet, it has better adhesion than Milliput and is tougher.
