I wonder when it's coming to Europe.
I have a pd usbc in my laptop, can I use it to charge my laptop and also charge other devices vice versa
Sure, brother, but you could have at least wiped the fingerprints off the screen before recording the video...
For fashionistas. I just need a solidly reliable USB-C 8TB SSD in 8K video shooting territories. Plain vanilla. We use FOSS.
Where is the speedtest
Nice but why not use USB4 / TB 4 by now? They're much faster and actual protocols for this kind of product I think.
Will these small ssd work for ps5
I love it, but I need you to make an enclosure with a cold shoe or 1/4 20 screws. The camera industry is waiting.
Fun look !
Would love to see this have the ability to change the RGB to a specific color when tagged in MacOS and be able to blink the light to quickly identify the drive and have it turn off when the it gets ejected. And have the branding be less present
so theoretical 2500 MB/s read writes? The previous gen Sabrent enclosure would constantly overheat and cause thermal throttle. I imagine this will throttle faster, since it's just a hunk of metal for cooling. I switched to one with a built in fan, now I don't run into that issue... when is sabrent going to make on of these with a built in fan?
WHY does Sabrent have 6 to 8 different cases for their 20 gig nvmes???????????????????? What the hell is the differences....and why the hell do they make so many changes.....if any????????????
What tool is used to remove the screws
You talk very quickly. I suggest a medical disclaimer that listening to this video can cause high blood pressure. It isn't that the content is complex - there's just a lot of world salad there.
is it compatible with nvme m.2 ssd, i'm planning to connect it in my legion y540 as in the sata port and upgrade my storage to 1 tb
You should have invested 2 Dollar more in the fan and built a silent fan.
what if my graphics card doesnt have a usbc output? how do i connect it to the kvm?
DRAM-less ssd will be very slow on any load. Do not purchase it unless you search more about this types of SSDs
Does the USB C port support video out or is it power only?
Thanks man, sweet presentation, now I rest assured I won't fry my Olympus camera. I will wait until my new Olympus with the USB-C port arrives, don't want my Gimbal on such a high charge rate it tries to strangle me. I will use the correct charger for the appliance, definitely worth subscribing to your channel, peace Bro'.
This SSD is going to need a custom heatsink
The best
are you ever going to restock this?
It would have been nice if you had explained how to determine the thickness of the heat pad needed and how to install. Also why was the included screwdriver not magnetized? smh
Keep checking but it's been sold out since release.
Very informative! Thank you for this video!
Glad it was helpful!
It’s too big on a small desk
TLDR.: Installing OS -> simple disc data storage/gaming/ work files/etc. -> Dynamic disc.
hello, please what type of tool did you just use and open the laptop?
Can I run 4K HDR with Display Port 1.2? My Samsung ViewFinity S7 has 4K and HDR10 and support only DP 1.2 and HDMI 2.0. Which one should I use? Thanks!
Now if only there was a software that could test and confirm which UHS standard is supported by the reader built into my laptop. Looking inside the port didn't exactly help me see if there is 1 or 2 rows of contacts :( MSI website doesn't say anything beyond SDXC which says nothing about speed.
AV2 will be out by the time H.266 would be viable
Sabrent is much more competitive than the ordinary economy-defiant Crucial Technologies, especially for both the RAM and NVMe SSD. Many businesses who endorse these pint-sized underdogs have a hard time getting around the daily workflow, and these upgrades might be the only way to remedy the issue.
[Foysal@ns1 ~]$ sudo hdparm -t --direct /dev/sda1
While its always nice to have another small enclosure for smaller drives, as others have mentioned, it was a huge mistake to not design this with a detachable cable.
Thank you. Accent is bit hard to understand. good video though (except wrong rpms referred at 2:28)
when this cable get damaged then its done.
Keep checking but it’s been sold out since release. Really, really want one.
Amazing thank you 🫡👏👍...
BRO THIS IS SO WRONG , DID YOU SEE ACASIS USB C Hub 10 Gbps 10 In 1 Dock Station Type-C , NOT MUCH BIGGER , DETACHABLE CABLE
nice one as well, but 4x the price.
Framework laptops go brrr
Sold out 😡
Already sold out
Cool USB Hubs!!!
How do you measure the hard drive to tell if it is a 2.5 or 3.5 inch hard drive? What is the dimension measurement for 3.5inch hard drives?
Your saying Sabrent incorrectly, your British not American, and you didn't do a speed test.
surprised the nail of that finger didnt scrape of some of the SMD
Why not a detachable cable?
what I thought.... thats a no no for me
Its annoying but it measn you will never lose it. mix it up with anotehr usb c cable (and they all like to have different standards/protocols) If this item is cheap, its fine
Came here to say THIS
can this take other pcie devices like a NIC?
Can i use this with ipad pro?
