I love mine it's easy has character and is fun, shame they're not doing a aircooled 500cc
Hey Rev, I really liked your heart felt review on the Meteor 350 buddy. I've pressed the thumb thing and subscribed. I have had a few bikes over the years, but the Stellar I'm getting on Tuesday , is definitely my last bike ( i'm 70 next year and I want it to be the one to see me through all the way ) Regards from Scotland
@user-Rockscorpion love to hear that mate and glad to enjoyed the review. Lots of great motoring ahead for you fella. Cheers 🍻
@@Revviews Thanks buddy 👍
Where is this Ninja 1000SX review??
Rev-views, would you rather have this bike or the suzuki hayabusa ?
Hey man, both great machines. I'd love to have them both to be honest. If I could pick only one I'd get the Z H2.
Great review, picking mine up Friday.
@markb3180 Thanks Mark, glad you liked it and enjoy your new machine. Cheers 🍻
@@Revviews Thank you 🤙🤙
I've just bought this can for my 2022 XR, but I've just had a afterthought !?! Panniers, had anyone ridden their bike with the Pro Race can ? I'm wondering about the exhaust heat on the Panniers. I am very interested in your opinions. Many thanks 🏍👍🏻
Converted. Have bought for my 2022 XR
@keithlewis9237 very nice mate, makes a huge difference in sound and less weight too. Cheers 🍻
Good information. Tested as the average rider will be using it, which is perfect. Hopefully picking mine up in3 days. Looking forward to it.
@stevenhrouda8389 appreciated and enjoy mate. Cheers 🍻
Great review pal
Thank-you mate. Cheers 🍻
🙂👍❤.
Cool bike 🏍 😎 Great colour 👌
It’s not a triple
Correct
@@Revviewsgreat review though. Studying for possible purchase. So many videos🤪
@@triprack glad it helped. Cheers 🍻
Yes, Fireball for the blackout everything.
Is it possible to turn off QS?
It's a good question mate. Off the top of my head I think so yes in the menu system. Cheers 🍻
@@Revviews thank you from SERBIA
Fukin bonkers it sounds great bruv
Cheers 🍻
Sounds awesome mate!!! I am thinking about buying a 2020 S1000XR and was wondering if your bike has been reliable?
Thank you mate. Yeah the XR was class. Very reliable and I regret selling it to be fair. This model year offers huge value for money now. Just ask your dealer to do all software updates and you're go to go. Cheers 🍻
@@Revviews thanks mate, much appreciated!
Make sure the spark coils have been changed. I was reading up on the 2020 xr the bike I own and people was saying that the coils pack up around 10k and I was out in the middle of nowhere and the coils packed up and the milage was just past 10k . My advice is buy one that has done the 18k service that consists of the valve clearance that I have been told can be expensive.
@@rollingstone1689 I am actually looking at a 2022 model that only has 8000kms on it so I would have another 22000kms before having to do the valve service if I buy it.
Between this and bmw gone for the bm 👍
Enjoy mate. Awesome bike! Cheers 🍻
@@Revviews 👍
Good review, I like it. But on a bike like the RT why spend so much time on roads 2 metres wide and 25 mph?
Thanks. People tend to like these kind of roads and a mixture rather than sitting at 70mph on a dual carriageway.
@@Revviews It's a fair call
excellent review. i feel more confident fiddling with my controls now
Thank you
The Akrapovic slip on is just like this. Sounds amazing and can be loud but not running a full exhaust you can still kind of control how loud it is if you need to be somewhat quiet. Somewhat lol.
Absolutely, both great options that massively improve the sound and also reduce around 5kg in weight.
horribly slow gear changes there mate
Lol amazing, you must feel better now for posting that. Well done
I find dipped beam to have a good spread and distance, but just needs to be a bit more powerful imo, main beam is useless in mine as it shoots up in the trees.
Completely agree. Compared to my old S1000XR it's night and day...lol. had to be done. Cheers 🍻
@Revviews just FYI, I have found out that people were stating how great the lights are in a forum but you need to adjust the headlight down as the rear shock can be a bit a tad soft with a bigger rider so the lights point too far up. There is a 10mm adjustment bolt on the back of the headlight unit, which can be reached from under the headlight. I have just lowered mine down so hoping they're a lot better now.
Love it. But that exhaust is so ugly.
100%, the stock exhaust it just ridiculous Massive and heavy and too quiet. I did a video on the Scorpion exhaust. Check that out. Cheers 🍻
Such an awesome bike… I want one…
They really are! Cracking bike. Cheers 🍻
You can't choose the option packages in England? Is it either Base model or TE model?
Hello, yes you can choose packs still, but that is after you've chosen your model first. Cheers 🍻
The best and most useful bike walk around I've seen for this bike, thank you👍👍
Love that feedback. Thank you and glad you liked it. Cheers 🍻
I've had mine since 2021 so this is the fourth summer No problems at all! Well except the seat I changed that right away! Oh and the tires! But other than that Good to go!
It's a cracking machine. Excellent value Imo. Cheers 🍻
UK roads are horrible You need to come ride is South Africa. Thank for the update
They are shocking over here at the moment lol. Thanks mate. Cheers 🍻
Thanks for sharing this. I'm on the fence about the XR. I liked it when I test rode one last week. The dilemma I had was that if I was to own one, it would diminish to point of having anything else alongside it from a fast bike point of view. With the state of our roads, even living in the countryside like myself, it's awful riding out the majority of the time. Mobile and fixed speed cameras are getting worse as well. I think as a touring bike, I think the XR wasn't as comfortable as the GS. I understand the XR but don't understand why you'd want all that power, I'd not want to speed in other countries with how strict some can be. For me personally, I'd rather have my XSR900 or R1 with a GS/Tiger for the everyday bike than an XR. If I had to have a 1 bike garage, the XR would be it. I went out today on the XSR and the roads didn't allow me to get above 60 just purely from the state of roads. Take care mate.
These bikes are too clinical. I tried one and did not like it at all. No sound from the engine either. No soul.
Totally agree that the BMWs can be a bit clinical. I found this while owning the XR. But you most definitely can hear the engine. And with an exhaust upgrade they sound great without being too loud. Cheers 🍻
Nice to see all the displays explained but I found it very hard to hear you over the music that you put on the vid. I thought that was unnecessary and distracting. But thanks for the in depth review.
Thanks Andy. Cheers 🍻
Hey buddy! Is this bike much different from the 2020 model?
Hey mate. It's mostly the same bike. Mainly styling package. However they did update the software and the bike was definitely smoother than the 2020 I owned. Hope that helps? Cheers 🍻
@@Revviews nice! Smoother in wat sense?
@@gianni3774 engine below 4k rpm and better mid range power.

@13:33 🥱 Maybe on you misreable little rock
had one on my z900 now ordered one for my street triple.
Got to be gold
Just started looking at these, currently on a Crosstourer DCT which I love, but I'm starting to notice the top heavy feel of the CT, and on a recent trip to France the lack of wind/weather protection is now getting a bit much (an age thing😢) So I'm thinking tourer is the way to go, looks like you can still cruise the country lanes and have fun on the BMW too. Thanks for the clear review
Hello mate, totally get what you mean. Have you tried one of these yet? Personally I think you'd love it. Super comfortable, loaded with tech and great fun to ride as well. Worth a try. Cheers 🍻
@@Revviews no I've not tried one, they're a bit shy on test rides my way. But I've say on a couple and liked it
Two much tec
Was looking to buy one, and was very excited about it. Yesterday went for a test ride on one.....lovely looking bike, smooth motor.......but I can only describe its performance to 'that of a good 125' :( I know instinctively if I'm going to like a bike within a few minutes of riding it. I was out on it for 5 minutes, and KNEW that if I bought one, I'd come to regret it, the instant I was out on the open road. It'd be great around town, but on a longer journey, particularly when faced with hills and winds. I can only describe its performance as 'flatter than flat'! Of course that is just my take....but I would strongly advise having a test ride, before making a decision.....and take it out on an A-road that has a hill or two. I got the test bike up to 60.....and there seemed virtually nothing to speak of past that. Also, I'm eleven stone, so am not really heavy. Horses for courses.
Hello mate, great feedback for other there. I agree with you, if it had a little more power it would be ideal. Howwcr that being said for many it's still just a nice easy cruiser. Cheers 🍻
Well spoken... just one light on makes no sense. They both should be ON for aesthetics reasons 😢.
100% mate. Cheers 🍻
Fabulous bike. I recognise those roads, I took a demo for a ride from Groombridges around those roads, some of which are horrendous. I liked it so much I have put a deposit down for their red ex-demo. Looking forward to picking it up on Friday.
Haha, that's awesome mate. Great that you are local and saw the video. Yeah some dodgy bits around these days. Roads need sorting. Great news mate and hope you enjoy it to the max. Cheers 🍻
Dear, Evotech Bar End Weights - BMW S 1000 XR (2020-2023) solved problems with wobling and handlebars vibrations in my case. Also Wunderlich comfort seat is great choice, it change comfort and feeling a lot. Aftermarket windshield needed for long trips. Mirror extension helps me a lot to not looking in my arms instead on traffic behind 😃 Otherwise great motorcycle from factory.
Very useful information there. Thank-you. Cheers 🍻
I used Ecotech hand guard protectors which helped a lot, but I injected two part shore 40 silicone into the bars which made the biggest difference. I've posted the measurements before and after on the s1000xr forum somewhere. Bars pretty rock solid now.
@@jlparsons great feedback there. Cheers 🍻
Nice review thanks What is your chain camera and microphone? Kind regards
Hello mate, using go pro Hero 10 and the mic was a purple Panda with a separate audio recorder. Done a video on the channel which might help if you wanna watch that. Cheers 🍻
QS/AB sounds like the s1000rr,no good below 6k,would've like to seen more use of the QS/autoblipper operation, has that sewing machine sound which would need to be rectified as soon as possible...not sold on the colour... they need an alternative colour palette for kawasaki bikes in general as they're all becoming a bit homogenized..other than that..not bad.
Cheers 🍻
The KZ 650 B in 1978 sold for $1999 at Good Times Kawasaki in Olympia Wash.
That's a cool fact 😎
Found it Rev, many thanks 🎉
I'm so torn between this bike and the meteor 350. Can anyone give me any advice? I'm about to pass my A2
Hey James, ones a cruise, the other road and light off road. Depends on your riding style and what you will use the bike for. Both great first bikes. Cheers 🍻
@Revviews Hi Rev, thanks for your speedy reply. I'm looking to commute and do some light touring on the road. Honestly, I'm probably going to go for the Meteor 350. I like the bike looks wise far more, and it also has some nice options for saddle bags, so touring isn't out of the question. I've always loved cruisers ever since I was a kid, only recently that I've been able to afford the licence, bike, etc. Either way, it was a fantastic review, my friend. You've earned a subscriber here. Have you done a review on the meteor 350 ?
@jamesnoonan7450 Thanks James and you're welcome mate. I certainly have mate. Review on the channel bud. Hope it helps. Any questions just ask. And good luck mate. Cheers 🍻
I’m late to the party re this review but I’ve just acquired my 4th (on the trot) GSA - got one of the very last ones to enjoy for the next few years. I’ll be looking at the new 1300GSA (obviously when it comes out (Oct 24)) but will wait until I’m sure it has any teething issues, if any, sorted. I did over 35 years on large engined radical sports bikes and exhausted all the pleasures, but wanted to continue motorcycling with a different perspective, hence going in the direction of the GSA about 10 years ago. I don’t use it that much in the UK, I mainly go south of the Channel for my riding fixes - I’m in the south anyway, so it’s only a little over an hour to the ferry. I’ve toured on sports bikes, but there’s no way I’d go back to one now. I have to admit…, I am one of those ex racers and have used my GSA’s for giving track day instruction. They’re not as quick as my S1000RR was around a circuit but they are a very capable bike and always surprise lots of track day users. Anyway, great review. I’m just looking forwards to this year’s trips over the water 👍
That's great feedback right there based on lots of experience as well. Love to hear it. GSA will always be incredible to.me. it offer so much. Hope to be back on 2 wheels again soon. Enjoy and cheers 🍻
Hi. I have a question about the new Powerbronz windscreen. Did it help a lot in aerodynamics and wind drag? Compared to tye stock windscreen of Kawasaki? Nice bike and video. Thank you.
Hello, yes it does definitely help with higher speeds and tucking in. Functional not just cosmetic. You can get bigger screens as well. Cheers 🍻
Thanks for the information and advice. Good review and ride safe always bro. God Bless🙏😁🏍🏍
I rode (survived) 900 Kaws. The Int is a pleasure.
