    Thanks Egils for posting . On the Chicken walks SSQQ you say back back back back on the last Q Right foot Edgars went back but it looks like when you Demo it with Eliza you went on last Q right foot to a forward side Turning step starting to turn to the left to go into chasse for fallaway throwaway from open position . Is it ok to use either or method. Thanks again for all your efforts .

    Thanks for attention to details. For competition, it's okay to change the direction of the last step of the Chicken Walks. For exams, keep the original direction unchanged.

    Question regarding Double reverse spin: i (leader) was told at my dancing lessons to not set my left foot down until the Start of the next bar (so 2 and 3 on right foot rotating). However on this chanel sometimes a fast 2-a-3 is danced by the leader aswell. Is this then a different figure?

  • @EgilsSmagris
    @EgilsSmagris17 күн бұрын

    Thank you for your question! In a Double Reverse Spin, the man should close his left foot to his right foot without weight on count 3. Sometimes dancers may close a bit earlier, possibly for balance reasons, but this is not the preferred technique. Hope this helps!
