Hi Anna. My satellite TV has died, so it's an opportunity to watch some of your older videos that I haven't seen. As a blond individual myself, I found your demonstration of the folding roof to be informative.

Thank you Anna. First time seeing your videos and I enjoyed your presentation and energy. It helped alter my view on EV. Philosophically, I have not been a fan of EV, especially the way it is being forced upon us but I like the looks of the E-tron GT and Taycan (my brother just bought a used Taycan). I would appreciate your insights. Currently, I drive a 2021/22 BMW M550i whose lease ends this December. It has good balance of power, luxury and technology at an affordable price although not the most beautiful or unique looking cars. I have spent months trying to select a car and have yet to do so trying to find the full package that I can afford. I am looking to find a stylish car with 4 seats that has very good performance, luxury and technology. Comfortably, I can afford leasing a $100K USD car and under the right circumstances, I could maybe stretch to $130K - 150K with the help of a great deal. Although I do not need full M level or RS performance, I like those cars because they have the more aggressive styling and details. I have been considering various models from BMW (850i/M8 Gran Coupe, i5 M60, X6 M60i), Audi (S7/RS7 or RS e-tron GT) and to lesser extent MB (E53). I welcome your perspective and any suggestions on cars that I could consider. Thanks and Blessings. David

As an automotive engineer, I wouldn't own an EV until they double the energy density of the current Li-Ion battery which means transition away from Li-Ion to another chemical make up or solid state. This will be minimum 5-10 years from now. Battery breakthroughs will occur in the future. Because of charging time, consumers want more and not less range than a gas powered car.

The mach 1 is more track oriented than a gt. Has suspension upgrades ,and extra cooling for track days. Too boy racer look for me. I have a 19 Bullitt with magnaride suspension, and ford racing sways, springs, computer flash. Also a H pipe where the front resonator was. The car is very loud, extremely fast on the corners. 6 spd manual only.

Owned a 90, 92 autocross car, and my favorite. A 93le. Really great cars. Very fast on the curves. Sway bars, intake, headers, high flow cat, exhaust. A whopping 130 hp.😂 Still plenty fast. Lots of 😁

Great review on a fun car. Beautiful roads. Too bad they weren't dry My 19 Bullitt has a H pipe , and magnaride Ford racing suspension. M 9602 M suspension kit is the read deal. Springs, sways, a flash for the computer. The car in sport, or track is very loud, fast in the corners. No body roll, but full suspension travel. Amazing handling for a muscle car.

The myld hybrid petrol system could be a solution: Mercedes however uses a 1500 combined with the electric motor, which I don't like for this type of car and weight. A 2000cc combined with the electric motor would be perfect. Greetings from Italy

Anna..well said about the safety aspect of EV charging points and use by women on their own. Too many I have found are in dark and distant places or lonely car parks and another difficult point is that sadly many in the more distant positions are also an unplanned public convenience….😬😬😬😣

Hello Anna! Well I’m new to PHEV with a Range Rover Sport Autobiography Dynamic which I bought a month ago and immediately set off on a road trip of learning! It was a considered choice but I do a number of short journeys plus regular long trips so a diesel 3.0l may not be the best answer. A straight 3.0l petrol is in reality, very thirsty so the Hybrid won! I learnt….that charging points for PHEV’s are very few and that the reliability of any charging station is very patchy…and some are in very unpleasant places! They are also very expensive in the U.K..75/80ppKW although Cornwall has a set up which is simple to use and is only 58ppKW. The answer with a PHEV is overnight charging at home and mine takes around 6 hours from flat to full…at 7.5ppKW so a fraction of public charging costs. Then..I have a SAVE option on the car which means that it selects when to use EV power or not and that works really well… In SAVE, the car still moves off in EV mode and if you are simply moving around slowly then it stays like that but is using the saved electricity generated by braking so after that is gone, the engine starts and runs as a petrol. Of course I can still leave it in EV mode and drive it as a purely electric car but my battery is small so I get a genuinely useable 50km from it. The outcome is that my 2.0l petrol engine delivers a net 32-36mpg in general use as it is helped by the free regenerated electricity produced on any trip. On a long motorway run then that rises to 46/47mog ! Downsides…none really except that although barely perceptible, I hear the engine starting and stopping quite often and that worries for engine life but I shall only keep it two years so should not have any problems…🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 So..PHEV is brilliant if you do short trips and charge at home. For longer runs just realise that you are driving a petrol car with electric assistance. Use public charging sometimes if away from home but used carefully, I charge mine every 2/300 miles and my calculations are that with the free regenerated power it saves a net 15% in running costs but is mighty useful in towns or quiet situations. I hope that helps! 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

1:31 Not a reality even. If everyone had an EV how could people even charge them because there would be lines and lines of cars waiting in line for a charge if there would be a million EVs in the city? It would take 40 years till most average folks could afford an EV. The reality is that combustion engines will live for multiple decades and we’ll see sports car manufacturers starting to embrace and fight for combustion engines like Aston Martin is already doing it.

The perfect conclusion to the series Anna. This was very well summed up. Depending on your usage, home charging availability and type of journey etc will all play a part in the decision to consider an EV. A very good point about some public charging facilities being low light or no light in the dark where charging takes many time longer than a petrol or diesel, safety has to be considered as well. Very few reviewers have mentioned this fact. When a sleaze bag follows you to the car it can be a worrying experience at any time even if you are in a supermarket car park when not charging. With payment scanning or unplugging and storing cables added to the equation this could up the anxiety by an order of magnitude. In summary a great series for everyone who may be considering an EV and a well balanced approach to the pros and cons. many thanks for sharing, another top job.

It's remarkable that the whole "child slave labor" aspect of EV production doesn't even begin to trouble all the self-anointed world savers. Likewise, the fact that a malevolent, cutthroat, ruthlessly mercantilist totalitarian superpower that operates actual concentration camps and labor camps for dissidents and ethnic/religious minorities controls most of the necessary resources. Of which enough literally do not exist ON EARTH to achieve this "green transition." Sources like solar and wind will never be more than supplementals, and inefficient ones at that. These same wokescolds will harp endlessly on historic injustices that have been a dead letter in America and the West for decades or centuries, where everyone involved is either long gone or at best very, very old, for which more than sufficient amends have been made. Our history, sacred traditions, mores, indeed the concept of language itself, are under sustained day in, day out globalist assault. But atrocities happening right now, this minute, are waved away because it serves the social engineering collectivist agenda they're relentlessly foisting on all of us. As a wise person once said: "The carbon they want to eliminate is YOU."
