Purple MKII firing on all cylinders. Make no mistake about it, when you say Deep Purple this is what you mean, not the =1 out there now. That's a completely different band even if there are three of the same members. Maybe call the current lads version of the band Lite Lavender or profound periwinkle.....but definitely NOT Deep Purple.

I loved the album come taste the band. They should have taken a break after recording the album. The tour was a bit hit and miss for me. It's a shame as they could have done a few more albums if they had taken their time before hitting the road imo

This album helped me get through my tour of Europe when I was in the Air Force. Mostly, I played it on my headphones or in my car, but once, when I was on a remote base with small barracks, I played it in my little room on my little tape recorder with a 4" speaker. There were no carpets and apparently the sound carried from my room. One guy said that it sounded like a concert in my room. THESE GUYS ROCKED!!!

The Dagenham, " Roundhouse" was as rough as a hippos arse!!! Unfortunately its closedown now. Perhaps with hindsight thats not a bad thing,.....lol ...what a dump!!!
