  It has nothing to do with being considered backward or closed it is to do with language. If you want to reach the English speaking world then you need to put your title and description in English. I only found this film as I have been watching a number of videos ion the Tuareg people and travel in Algeria so YT gave this video and one of many recommended to watch.
