What I do not understand is that electric potential is dependent on the position of a charge or a test charge within an electric field. No, whether to charge goes through a resistor or not doesn’t change the electric field and potential energy as that is totally derived by the charge and the electric field irrespective of the resistor I understand you analogy and I understand that energy is being lost in the form of heat or Kinetic energy. However, if the resistor was not there and the voltage would not change from V2 to V1 electric potential energy would not be different. How can we still talk about electric potential energy?

Consider electron wave and positron wave are the same but out of phase. So there is only one charge that can either be constructive, same charge, or destructive, different charge.... more to follow.

Hey, small question,.. why does adding phase imply the wave is going to the left?? And for a sin wave starting going up above the x axis, is the equation asin(wt-kx) or asin(kx-wt)????
