Watching this is just sad.... She was such a great mover and was so talented and hard-working, and not to mention super cute and naturally pretty with big brown doe eyes like Liza Minelli. She had Liza's powerhouse voice too :) It's a shame she couldn't have done broadway and some movies - comedies and musicals like how she wanted, especially after having kids. That might have been her chance to move into a space of doing some different things and exploring other sides of her but she just wasn't able to have that chance. I just hope now she gets to heal and find her passion again 🙏

She's a good example of why you should give your children a well rounded childhood, not let them single mindedly pursue 'careers' so early in life, no matter how ambitious or talented they are. I'm sure it's hard for a parent to give up the glory, but they should think of the child's mental health first, not the money she could make or the fame and success she could reach.

So she went from a blant average to a blant average mimicking a kid’s voice, lol. There was no way she would make any career based on her voice, her dancing was nothing special that millions of American teenagers couldn’t do, so the only way to boost her career and promote her was by oversexualising her, pretending that she was a virgin saving herself for her wedding night, lol, whilst she was having breast implants and was dressing as sexy as possible in order to have the Media talk about her all the time. Was she used? Yes. Should they have done it? No, her family should have protected her. However she still went along with the narrative after she grew up and became an adult. From that point onwards she also has a personal responsibility. She could have admitted she wasn’t a virgin when she became 18 to stop the stupid narrative and the stupid questions. She could have REFUSED to give interviews when stupid questions were going to be asked, because artists and their teams KNOW IN ADVANCE what questions will be asked during interviews, even live ones. She could have refused to make another album with the stupid baby voice especially once she was a 20+ woman. So yes, that girl was used and was oversexualised to promote her career and become famous and she shouldn’t, she should have been protected. That wasn’t her fault. Once she became an adult though, and she kept on following the same narrative, she’s A LOT TO BE BLAMED.

You obviously don’t know what Hollywood does to its child stars.....there’s a reason why so many break down, get addicted to drugs, die or all three. The effects of child abuse and exploitation are catastrophic. She was overworked, exhausted and exploited. Stop victim blaming. Unless you’re being paid by Britney’s team to shill. I know there’s plenty of that going on.
