Gotta check in with the rain gear for Redding 🚿 I made a few changes from my ASA bow to my Redding setup: 1. New 9-inch sight bar to kick out my scope an extra notch for torque tuning and lens power 2. X-Impacts 400 spine cut to 24.5 with 140 grain points 3. Faster travel in my release. Needing the hottest trigger possible. Comment on your Redding Prep below 👇 #archery #targetarchery #bowhunting

Command style requires a system of controlled steps that help to elevate those tendencies. Allowing the aim to completely control your process can be just as unpredictable as allowing an unknown point of release to control your shot location. Both styles require control and good technique to be successful.

I kind of disagree on the whole hinge thing. I've tried them for months at a time, and I absolutely hate them. I could never get comfortable with them no matter what I did or how I used them. I'm strictly a thumb button guy, and I simply shoot much better that way. Hinge release actually gave me more target panic than thumb buttons do. Either way, nice video, and I wish you continued success!

@@kirkbonds8579 Joel Turner must be doing something right because he trains his son Bodie Turner, who surprise surprise, is dominating! Bodie shot a perfect 660 at Lancaster (at 14 mind you) in 2022 and not to mention winning Vegas the same year. In 2023 Bodie shot another 660 at Lancaster and was Open pro Champion. I may be wrong but I believe Bodie won Lancaster again this year 2024. Again he’s just a teenager and Joel is his dad and coaching him. Again, it seems Joel knows his stuff.
