The European Nature Trust
The European Nature Trust (TENT) supports and funds well-founded initiatives, which preserve and restore the last remaining wild habitats in Europe.
In its formative years, TENT focused on environmental projects at Alladale Wilderness Reserve in the Scottish Highlands. These included:
• The restoration of native forestry
• The reintroduction of native wildlife
• Youth education
• Peatland Restoration
In 2007, TENT recognised the importance of protecting the last remaining areas of wilderness in Europe - perhaps one of the most spectacular of these being in the Carpathian Mountains in Transylvania. Since then, TENT has been involved in a number of projects that aim to protect this area of outstanding natural beauty for today and for generations to come. These include:
•Raising funds from wildland philanthropists to contribute to the protection of over 100,000 hectares of forestry in the Carpathians
• The production of Wild Carpathia I, II, III - a series of documentaries raising awa

Nine years on Prince Charles is now King Charles and as he has guardianship of large areas of Dartmoor and the Highlands and Islands of Scotland including the Balmoral Estate I so look forward to their transformation back to how they once were? Though I think he’d have travel reintroducing apex predators like bears and wolves as we had trouble returning beavers and pine martens to our lands!!! We can but hope Fingers crossedX Enjoy all

Transylvania is an amazing place. King Charles' charity efforts contributed to preservation of old Romanian villages for decades.
I recently heard that this video with HRMKCIII caused a perpetual tourism boom in Transylvania. New roads, petrol stations, shops, hotels & other amenities in that pristine area shown.

What on earth are you on about? Most Romanians have their own gardens and produce their own, natural food 😂 No one is starving in Romania!!! Roughly 96% of Romania's population OWN their own property, most additional land for agriculture too! Romania has the highest home ownership in the world! Most of those working abroad are only there temporarily, they are working for a few years and return home, most of them not having higher education for better prospects at home. You can build a villa with a pool in a beautiful location with roughly £100,000 in Romania.

This is what tells you nothing. You got this territory for treason 100 years ago and now you beat your chests on the stolen land. Anyone in the West who knows even a little bit of history will see your kind of situation as an uneducated Balkan barbarian. Fortunately, as far as I know, normal history is taught in Romanian higher education. It just doesn't come down to the level of such uneducated peasants. So Zalánpatak will remain a Hungarian village in Transylvania even if you get a stroke from it. :D And yes. Transylvania is in Romania. Beat your chest ;) !

Is unique in it's splendor! Food, smell everything is different! People are also compassionate & sweet (most of the time).
