My 2023 PacHy had two pieces per side to remove. Removing the plastic clips was a little tough, but I used a towel to protect paint/metal and a decent flat head screw driver. I oddly have a screwdriver with the hex tip, but I don't have a torque wrench to set them all at the required 3.8 ft lbs so I have for now left the cover pieces off. Start to "Finish" was about 35 minutes without help. All 12 hex bolts are hand snugged so it should be fine to drive with for a day or two until I get to parts store and borrow the torque wrench. Word of caution, the new trim pieces are packaged very well, but very easy to bend when removing from foam. I bent up the drivers side and had to reshape the forward piece. I think in the sun over time noone will be able to tell.

It seems to me, that the speed ramps down so quickly, that the brake pedal isn't going to do much good - especially with toddler reaction time. No harm in the pedal being there, I suppose though. I was curious, though. Back when the vehicle was four wheel drive, was there ever a chance to use the 4WD/2WD selector switch? I'm trying to figure out, if there's ever a good reason to run in 2WD mode, when there are four motors installed. It seems to me, that the non functional motors would create enough drag, that it would drastically and negatively affect performance. I suppose, depending on how it's wired, it might even create a handbrake effect. Just wondering if you had any experience with the switch? It's a moot point now, though.
