    I don't think kratos would have won. He wouldn't die either (since he can't, and even he does he'll just come back) but he wouldn't win. Only circumstance is if atreus dies and kratos goes into a permanent state of spartan rage where he spends hundreds of years trying to defeat surtr, dying and coming back until he eventually wins. Which is possible. But they obviously aren't going to do that. If you replay the game you'll see how powerful surtr is, he launched kratos by barely even moving

    And it wasn’t like they DID or DIDNT want Asgard destroyed. Kratos just wanted to avoid ragnarok as a whole. Kratos had a change of heart mid war and decided to save the innocents, that it’s deeper than just “winning the war” and sacrificing people for your own cause. They didn’t want Odin dead for vengeance, they wanted justice for brok and every other innocent soul that Odin killed in his long path of destruction. Not destroying Asgard was never the focus, it was saving the innocents before it happened. Asgard was never the focus at all, it was Odin.

  • @RebelGamingUK04
    @RebelGamingUK0413 күн бұрын

    Exactly, well said. Kratos' journey and his change of heart show that a true hero values innocent lives and doesn't sacrifice them for his own goals. The fight against Odin wasn't just about revenge; it was about justice and peace. This shows that sometimes making the right decisions and saving humanity is more important than simply winning.

    @@Fastvz which makes causing ragnorok even more dumb. If the goal is just odin, make a small task Force to sneak in asgard and kill him, which is exactly what they ended up doing. Didn't need surtr or the armies. It made 0 sense like they didn't even consult with jormangandr who had seen it before OR invite him to come despite him being one of the strongest beings in the realms. God of War and master strategist my ass 😂 Should have just been freya, freyr, the valkries, kratos, atreus, maybe jormangander to distract the Asgardian army and used fenrir to get to asgard instead of the horn
