Thank you, why not, is a great hobby , you can build your own furniture and for me is relaxing. Just few tip: At the beginning don't buy expensive tools, if you don't want to spend much money find some good tools at thrift store or on marketplace on Facebook. Start working with palletwood is cheep and if you make some mistake you are not throwing away money. Hope that help 😊

Nice and easy build, and looks good. I enjoy pallet wood projects, as the price of the wood is just so much gooder. Not everyone will have the money for walnut, cedar, and some wood that I can’t even pronounce, or be able to easily access them. As always, just put your own spin on it. Like the arm rests, I would like to match a bit of the curve, similar to the support underneath. Also, I think a brace on the legs might not be a bad idea, as 19mm/3/4” is a tad thin, just my opinion. Thanks 😊

@monkeysnark7043 thanks for your comment. You are right, the price for good wood nowadays is insane. Anyway I thought when I opened this channel to make easy project with reclaimed wood as pallet wood. For the chair you can personalize as you want, adding a personal touch to furniture is always a good idea.

Definitely a cool little scrap wood project. I would make them from cedar, if I was going to sell them. I'd also be a little more exact with my build. However, as a scrap wood project, it doesn't get much quicker and easier for a functional piece that you can enjoy all year long.
@RuralWoodshop10 күн бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Cedar is great to make many projects, and if you have a small shop, the scent will remain for many days. I used scrap pallet wood cose I want to make an inexpensive and small wood project. Anyway if you have access to cedar I will suggest to make an outdoor chair. If you want you'll find the video in my channel.

Please help with measurements. You have alot of cuts at 89cm. I get that but what does second number mean for example. 89x616 or 67x254 or 89x 483. I understand the first number but dont u derstand the second number. Im use to inches and feet not cm. Sorry if this is stupid question. Really hair and want to biuld w right measurement.
@RuralWoodshop4 күн бұрын
@bryandetrick2801 Don't worry, yours is a legit question. So for example the first measurement you'll find will be the 4 legs, the legs measure 19 X 89 x 616 mm the first number ( 19 ) correspond to the Thikness, the second number ( 89 ) is the width and the third number (616 ) is the lenght. Anyway on the internet you'll find many converter from cm to inches, Google have also one of this converter. I Hope this comment helped. If you have other questions please write here. Thank you 😊

Rasp: a coarse file or similar metal tool with a roughened surface for scraping, filing, or rubbing down objects of metal, wood, or other hard material.
@monkeysnark7043Ай бұрын
Also, there are Japanese style rasps that file very well, and aside from there being regular that are flat, there are concave rasps to use as you need them.
